It’s a real treat to visit this bespoke cobbler. Located inside Gieves & Hawkes, it’s even a more exciting event to meet James.
He’s been at this since 1992 and can offer good advice if you’re seriously considering dropping some serious cash on these decadent shoes. Or boots. He does exquisite boots, as you can see in this small booth behind shiny glass. Mostly mens’ shoes, but he does do a high heel as well.
The process takes about one year to do and is handcrafted in stages.
