Wowza what a great find as i had gone to Hotel Chocolate for a hot chocolate but the shop has closed its café that once served incredible hot chocolate with rum :(. With my sad face as I stumbled around I found this super little café. Yes in the heart of Convent Garden and just down from Seven Dials you walk into a little haven that has a calm and friendly feeling. The mocha coffee was good and fantastic value for money. The décor is quirky and not the bland chain décor that one has come customised to. I took refuge sitting in the Churchill chair indulging myself with the stillness. Yes this is a place to defo come back to and enjoy my caffeine fix. xoxo

Love this place when I visit London. Café’ Eterno is a cool must see café’. Best prices and real bargain for the Covent Garden area. For Americans, the prices are super cheap(since the British Pound is high). Amazing homemade food/bake goods, great coffee/tea. The food always taste fresh and seasoned. I have been going there for a few years every time I visit London. The food, atmosphere and service deserves 5 stars! People working there are super friendly and kind. I wish they were opened later for early dinner.

The people are kind, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is cosy and relaxing, and the prices are beyond fair. What’s not to love? It’s clear that the theory behind the café is certainly revolutionary and even initially off-putting to some, but to be honest, this is probably the most accurate reflection of the gospel that I’ve ever seen in action: serving, caring and loving on the community without passing judgement. Giving without expecting. Leading by serving. It’s refreshing to see a church rebelling against ‘religion’ and the disgusting intolerant politics that accompany it. Soapbox aside, I really can vouch for the food, with a special nod to the cakes. Heavenly. (Side note: how perfect is it that I was lead here by a Jew? You can’t make this stuff up.)

This place is a super-cute café that is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden. It has that unique type of coffee shop feel that makes you just want to sink in and relax, talk, read, etc. The Christian part is a bit bizarre knowing that you can«talk» to the staff and they will pray with you… not really my thing, I was just looking for a quick and cheap panini which they delivered in good form.

How does this place stay a secret? This too cute café ONNEALSTREET!!! is a fantastic haven from the bustle of Covent Garden with a selection of tasty lunches on the menu and hot and cold drinks served. I’ve just had a small but filling homemade hot lunch for £4, bargain! Yep the place is run by the church but really that just means that the people who work here actually want to be here and are super friendly. There are clusters of tables and some comfy sofas for girly gossip too. A great lunch find! Oh this place stops serving at 4pm so it’s most definitely a lunch place.

Café Eterno is one of the more unusual cafes that you will find in Central London. Not only is it run by the London City Mission, but the service is also disarmingly pleasant. As well as the shoes stuck to the wall, the quirky piles of suitcases lying around and the books you can pick up and look through, the café hosts a good menu of salads, houmous and pitta, soups and other light meals. Do not expect your order instantly, as a more laid back approach is taken, but worth the wait. The food is healthy, delicious and very reasonable, On the occasions that I have been to Café Eterno it has never been too busy, just what you need in this busy area of town.
