I love this branch, its probably the best for food and service. I have visited wembley and hated it, still like the covent garden one, but this is my fave :) It was pretty empty at about 2:30ish, so food arrived quickly. I got the spicy malagueta chicken with the prawns and rosemary fries and to drink a fresh lemonade with touch of soda water and slices of lemon and lime — just what I needed after all that shopping! The food is amazing, tastes great, and not too spicy where you cant feel your tongue. The sauce is great, better than a peri-peri! The interior is lively, vibrant and wonderful. The upside down hanging flower pots give it a nice touch, different decorations of brazil are great too! The food is cooked to perfection and I loved the prawns, was my first time trying them there, and I think next time I will just get those as a main! Not bad for price either, for lunch its fairly cheap, they also have a great cocktail menu.

Let’s just start from the beginning shall we… It was blazing outside and inside my tummy! I needed fuel! But I wanted to be taken to flavour town so a few of us chose cabana! Best decision that day! Sat down and the cocktail menu was practically shoved in my face! I was about to protest but I realised that I in fact Wanted a cold cocktail so the guy actually recieved a coy smile from me. They have an all day 2 for 1 cocktail deal and their caphrinas were the bomb! I sucked on that cocktail like it was the key to endless beauty! I then ordered their«special grilled chicken» which came with sweet potato fries and slaw! It was soooooo good! I slammed my fists down with intense approval the moment those Brazilian flavours touched my tongue. Very resonably priced and the place was nice and airy so yes … I WILLBEBACK! *batman voice*. Wait was it even batman who said that or terminator?

My friend’s Rib-Eye steak was returned to the kitchen after he tried cutting it and it turned out to be all fat and with very little meat hiding under all the marinade. To their credit, they quickly brought him a much better one. How could the chef have allowed that to be served? Appetisers: The cold slices of pita bread and small dipping sauce is a joke. The fried calamari yucky. The Guaca Mohle with unlimited(cold) corn chips was better. My beef burger was OK — but not awesome — for £12.95 incl fries and a terribly small and yucky side of coleslaw. Bun was cold, and the toppings unexciting. The side of beans was very tasty — but so miserly tiny! The waiters were very nice, but a bit slow to bring out the appetisers and the dessert. One of them funnily didn’t know what mustard was when we asked for some. The restaurant décor and the men’s bathroom are very nice. We saw other tables ordering the BBQ ribs — which looked better than what we got. Maybe next time.

A Brasilian restaurant(written with an ‘s’ despite the grammar rules) serving typical Brazilian steak on skewers, burgers and capirinhas. We went in for a late dinner before the cinema screening and had less than an hour which was enough time to have a 2 course meal. We were served pretty quickly. The steak was ready before we finished our nachos with guacamole for starters. The food was generally good and enjoyable. I wasn’t too impressed with Amazon Iced tea I ordered, I was expecting it to be refreshing, yet it was too concentrated and sweet. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has seating both inside and outside. It was nice to sit outside with a view on the digital waterfall at Westfield centre.

I loved this place. It’s beautifully decorated inside and it has a veranda terrace that I assume is kept open during summer. We went there for a pre-cinema dinner last Friday and ordered a selection of starters, a burger and a steak. The starters were delicious, we had the cheesy bread balls, the parmesan with honey, guacamole with tortilla chips and rice balls. They were all very very tasty, especially considering the usual chain/pre-cooked standard food expectations. The burger was okay, not the very best but nice enough. The steak however was really really really really tasty. Cooked to perfection and properly marinated, it was packed full of flavours. They serve all their meat off a skewer directly onto your plate, We didn’t order any side dish as the starters kept us going for a little while. If you fancy a refreshing drink, try the lemonade, it’s freaking delicious! Will happily go back for more pre-cinema noms.

The dinner was different than any Brazillian dinner than I’ve had before. You specifically ordered the dinner you wanted rather than the usual practice of bringing around a variety of meats. The meals were well prepared and the service was excellent. We had a nice meal.

There are so many restaurants on the Southern Terrace and on a Thursday night, Cabana was busy but not as busy as it’s neighbour Wahaca. The menu didn’t offer a wide variety of choice although we were there for the ribs so it didn’t matter too much to us. Also, if you’ve read my other reviews, you can see I’m doing a bit of a Tastecard tour of London lately and a little secret, this location does 2−4−1 with the card, if you book ahead. We shared the Pulled Pork Feijoada with biro biro rice and the Ribs & Homeslaw. Both were tasty, and the ribs were huge! No complaints there. It did lack a certain freshness, it’s hard to describe. We left with fully happy bellies, so full we didn’t opt for any dessert. I’d try to look for an offer if you can, as for the same price, there are so many options nearby! The staff were very pleasant and had a bit of character. I’m not sure I’d return again as I like to always try new places but am curious about trying the location in Angel.

«Cabana Brasilian Barbecue Restaurant(At the Cabana)» His name was Nik and He was a Unilocaler Was looking for a place to eat and had really tired feet And then his friend said Since we’re in Westfield There’s this nice Brazilian joint — so we got right down to the point And then we had a starter and the BBQ rib platter 12 quid for 3 tiny [NB: albeit delicious] empadas? Are you taking us for nutters? [Chorus:] At the Westfield’s very own Cabana Admittedly the ribs plate was a stunna(here) The caipirinha was very fun-a If they charged reasonably — I would have rated more highly At the Cabana… It was close but no cigar

Went here for the first time on a quiet-ish Tuesday evening a couple of weeks ago, and was really disappointed. It didn’t start off too badly. The décor is nice, somewhat similar to Wahaca, and I really enjoyed my fizzy passion fruit drink. For starters we went for the cheesy dough balls, chicken coxinhas and the prawns. The chicken was tasty enough, there weren’t many prawns considering the price and the dough balls were essentially Pizza Express dough balls with a little cheese added, served with the same type of garlic butter. So far, so good. However, when our mains arrived the disappointment began. Two of us had ordered the pork and papaya sausage, newly updated to go in a hot dog. This dish just didn’t seem to have been thought through — certainly not tasted. The sausage was served in a brioche bun with mango home slaw on the side, with a sweet sauce on top of the bun. The sausage was nice enough, but every single accompaniment was sweet, adding up to a really unbalanced dish. Sweet bun, sweet coleslaw, sweet sauce and sweet sausage added up to a dish that felt more like a dessert than a main course, and wasn’t better for it. I didn’t enjoy mine and my brother didn’t bother finishing the brioche bun. It just made no sense as a dish. The steak my brother’s girlfriend ordered was nice enough, but the portion size was small and there was nothing particularly special about it. The desserts were average. The nutella and banana pastels I ordered were tiny, with practically no filling — perhaps the nutella melted away into the pastry while cooking. They were also dripping with oil. The chocolate brownie was what you would expect in any mid-range restaurant, not bad but not brilliant. The real star of the desserts was the caramel frozen yoghurt, which was creamy enough to taste like ice cream, and came with one topping, for which my brother chose the oreos. After that, despite a half-empty restaurant, the service was incredibly slow. It took ages for the bill to arrive, and then it seemed impossible to get a server’s attention to take our payment. There was literally half an hour between the time on our bill and the time when someone finally got it together to take our payment. Added to this my brother’s comment that Cabana serves, at best, Giraffe-quality food at higher prices, and we all agreed that we wouldn’t be returning.

I really don’t know why this place has good reviews! The portion sizes were pathetic. The pork and papaya sausage wheel(one of their cheapest main options at £5.5) and their chicken skewer(at £8) were puny, the avocado and mango salad consisted more of leaves, and we weren’t advised that mains didn’t come with any rice and sides should be purchased. To fill up we decided to opt for starters(as deserts), picking the prawns and pulled port sliders(both at £6). Again we were thoroughly unimpressed by the portion sizes. We booked this on the taste card and to be honest if we didn’t get 2 for 1 on the food, I think we would have complained. Whilst the food wasn’t bad and we found it relatively tasty(I quite liked the marinade and sauces available), when you think Brazilian food, you think of good quality, lots of fresh tasty ingredients and mounds of meaty meat — not tapas! The décor is fantastic, but I am afraid this really didn’t make up for the size vs. price of the meal. It really didn’t help that service was also very sporadic and they got our bill wrong.

i loved the décor, blue jeaned booths and kites on the ceiling, The rib eye steak skewers were juicy and tender and well seasoned, Chips nice and crunchy, the kids loved their sausage meals(sausage had papaya in them). We only had the coke but i hear the ciprahana is nice.

The newest restaurant to join the Westfield crew is going to bring some stiff competition to the current restaurants. After some Christmas shopping we were feeling quite hungry and the picture of the Cabana Brasilian Burger drew my other half in like a moth to a flame. We decided that everything on the menu looked very tasty but opted to pick only a few sample dishes. As a starter the cheesy dough balls, were ok. They got cold rather quickly and were a bit bland. However after that the food tastiness ramped up. The chicken breast with bacon an pineapple skewer was nicely flavoured and the grilled pineapple was a perfect companion to the bacon. The pork and papaya sausages were deeeelicious! I could have eaten a whole plate of them. The sweetness of the papaya complimented the saltiness of the pork and the sausage was nice and juicy. The Brasilian burger tasted just as yummy as it looked in the picture. The chicken was moist and the bread wasn’t too heavy. The sweet potato fries had the perfect ratio of outside crispiness to inside softness and the homeslaw cut through the spicy sauce that we dunked our fries into. The service was very friendly and I will definitely be going back to try out some more of their food options!
