Nice little restaurant with a warm enviroment and well priced food. The food and drink took a fair amount of time to arrive but when it did, it was rather tasty. Had eggs benedict, very good, and the vegetable pie also good. The pie was meant to have various vegatables in it but seemed to be missing all that were listed on the menu. All in all, a nice place to eat at a good price.

We loved this cute, little restaurant tucked away in Chelsea. I must admit I heard about it through Bravo’s Ladies of London so when my husband and I went back to the UK for the holidays, it was on my must-do list. And it did not disappoint! The food was excellent — I would recommend both the fish and chips and mussels. The service was also top notch. We had the friendliest server who actually warned us that we might be over-ordering! Good food, good service, and in a cute setting — all the makings of a great night!

Went to bumpkin for a quick lunch. The mussels are fantastic and the bread along with it as well. The fish and chips were ok, I’ve had better. The service was a bit odd… my boyfriend and I ordered starters, mussels and bread, but for some reason we got the bread last? It was strange but for the most part this is a decent spot for a quick bite

I am really confused by what type of atmosphere they are going for here… The inside is adorable, quintessentially British, but then the outdoor«patio» looked like something out of a trailer park and extremely tacky(many of the outdoor decorations still had the price tags on??). The faux grass and glaringly bright lights did not help. I think some rustic lanterns and more flowers would look great in this space and would go along with the theme inside the restaurant. The food was good… my friend had the Sunday roast and she inhaled it. I tried a chickpea salad, that although it was not innovative, was fresh. There were maybe two other couples in the restaurants on a Sunday night at 8pm… we asked if it was always this quiet and the server said«yes,» so I’m not sure how long this Bumpkin location will stay open. Also, its a but out of the way and in a quieter part of the town.

Visited with my family on a holiday to London from New Hampshire in the US. we had the opportunity to dine in the garden room with the restaurant’s manager. It was a lovely meal. I would highly recommend the burger and sticky toffee pudding.

Going forward, will only award stars on food. Ambiance is great; sit in the covered Garden room; you feel like its a Martha Stewart magazine! Food was good, ordered the burger. The ingrediants were obviously very high quality(especially the meat which was bursting with flavour) however, the bun on the burger was a little stale, the meat a little overcooked, and the boston lettuce browning a little. Wine was wonderful And price was quite reasonable!

DEFINITELY sit in the covered garden room. The white lights, the colorful cushions and tables, and the heat lamps make it an all-season room. So nice to sit ‘outside.’ The menu is the standard Bumpkin. Not too many options but just enough to give options. Burger, lamb, chicken, etc. We started with the goat cheese and carmelized ‘flatbread.’ Just enough to share as a starter for two people. Nice flavor, note it has tomatoes on it. The sea bass entrée was also nice. Pan-fried fish with a bit of a crispy skin. The vegetables are heavy on the courgette — which made me happy! There is also a ‘healthy’ menu with some super food salads — quinoa, broccoli, etc. Enjoyed the meal with a large glass of the shiraz. All in all, £25 for each. Great neighborhood choice.
