This place is a great Wandsworth gem. I have sat-in twice and ordered out from here a few times — each time the food was great and the service was memorable. The atmosphere is well decorated and feels quite authentic to sitting in an independently owned small restaurant in Italy. Good quiet place for larger parties. They have a great lunch menu that offers £6(amazing) pizzas that are thin crust… the kind where you can eat the whole thing with no regrets. Most notably, they have a really reasonably priced entrée caesar salad that is crave-worthy. It’s a good size and worth a visit if you’re as big of a salad fan as I am.

Hmmm, here I am questioning my tastebuds, because I thought this place was great. We went in on a Sunday at lunch and there were only two other people inside. They were doing their £5 pizza or pasta deal, but I paid 95p more for a cream and pesto gnocchi off the specials board and split a garlic bread with my fellow diner. He got a tomato penne. It was beautiful. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked, and I mopped up the last of the sauce with the delicious flatbread style garlic bread.

Café Bugatti is a sadly below-par Italian restaurant in Wandsworth. I’ve been here twice now and had pretty much the same experience both times: terrible garlic pizza bread drenched in oil and smothered in cheese; mediocre, somewhat tasteless thin-crust pizza; rather better homemade tiramisu. Worse, it’s on the pricey side for the area, Putney included, where standards are higher. There are a few positive quirks to be enjoyed. One is free wifi, which few pizzerias in the area have. Another is the cheap and fairly decent house wine(£3 a glass). Another still is the quick service in the restaurant, aided by the fact that it was empty both times I was there. It’s open until midnight and every day there’s a lunch deal where any pizza and pasta dish is only £5. But these are scant consolations for the quality of the food. It’d be fine if you were simply after a tiramisu and a coffee. If you’re in the mood for pizza however, I’d suggest going to Pappa’s Original Pizza across the road.

Tooting, nope Wandsworth High Street is definitely in Wandsworth! Great little restaurant don’t be fooled by the name it’s not just a pizza place. We have been here many times for the £5.00 pizza or pasta deal, 12pm 5pm, but as the prices are so reasonable without the discount we don’t mind to come other times too. The(usually Eastern European) waitresses are friendly and helpful and the chefs are happy to amend the dishes to suit personal taste I often change penn to linguine. The house wine is rather good, and the wine list has a good selection. As the first review stated nearly 2 years ago there never seem to be many customers. Not sure why because good food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, what’s not to like?

The Bugatti Pizzeria is a fantastic restaurant, which is why I can’t understand the one thing that’s wrong with it — where are all the customers?! There very rarely seems to be more than one group dining in there when I walk past, and when I actually ate there myself, the only slight problem was the eerie silence that should have been filled with the chatter of the other diners. I really don’t understand this because the restaurant is great. The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is tasty and nicely cooked. It’s also really well priced — and to add even more value, they have a lunch menu where pasta and pizza is only a fiver. That’s less than a Nando’s — probably less than a Burger King these days. So get yourself down there — but take lots of mates.

Nestled in the heart of Wandsworth High Street, this small but welcoming pizzeria is about the best bet for food around here. Walk inside, and you immediately feel removed from the grime and bustle of the Wandsworth one way system. The service is the friendliest this side of East Hill, and the food is simple but well-cooked Italian fare. Price wise it’s standard, around seven quid for a pizza, and they are crisp and beautifully formed. Try the garlic pizza bread, which is a great sharer for starters, and then move on to a simple Napoletana. It seems to be run by Italians, so I guess that says it all.

This is a really cool little pizzeria really close to the Southside shopping centre. From the outside, this place really looks like it’s going to be more than what it is, but once you sit down, you realise it’s a pretty down to earth little pizzeria. The interior is really no frills and the clientele range from tired shoppers to families. Bugatti also delivers, which is a great add on to the restaurant, in fact, if I was choosing to eat a Bugatti pizza, I’d rather order a delivery. The restaurant is nothing great and you shouldn’t go out your way to eat here. The pizzas are really bog standard. It almost feels as if this is a take away that is really trying hard to be a pizzeria, it should just stick to what it knows best.
