I love this local deli. As soon as you walk through the door, you are overwhelmed withn the smells of the meats, chocolate and coffe all mixed together. It’s like stepping out from Maida Vale into a litlle piece if the continent.
The shelves are full of specialist food items that can be difficult to find in a supermarket. Under the glass deli counter is awide array of cheeses and cold cooked meats as well as selection of savoury items including olives and pastes.
Their sandwich baguettes are so good and tatsy. The fresh ingedients and almost freshly baked baguettes are mouthwatering. I especially like the mortadella here. They baguettes are not cheap, but reasonably priced.
They make a great coffee here, although they are not huge cups, and take them a while to prepare.
This is just the sort of local shop that I love to see thrive in an urban environment, often squeezed out by multiples, opening scaled down versions of the larger supermarkets.

Love going there and i think the best deli in Maida Vale, i asked them if they could get or make some Guacamole for me and low and behold the following week there it was waiting for me
You really cannot beat the customer care there you really can’t. I went in there and it started to rain and i had no umbrella, the owner told me to wait and he would drive me home i said no it was okay but that is just what he did enough said would you not agree.
Yummy, yummy, yummy food and a real family business.
Looking forward to coming in to see you all soon and nibble some of those fab olives.

A great place and everyone I know who has tried it and lives in the area loves it.
Everything they stock is descerningly chosen to even the most knowledgeable foodie, also the things are practical so it is real stuff that one actually eats.
Their sandwich baguettes are really good, excellent ingedients and filled to the brim with 1^st class ingredients. They are not, cheap as they are aimed at a certain market, but neither are they over priced.
However the community’s loyalty is from the affection and respect they give to their clients. If a regular customer finds they by mistake do not have enought change, they take great delight in offering them credit or even giving it to them at a discount.
I once met the owner who thanked my for my kind support of their shop, and that is basically the attitude of all the staff.
Also, often when I buy milk at corner shops I find it goes off very quickly, no problems with that here.
It is not just a deli but it also has the useful corner shop type foods and this makes it specially useful

I love having this place as a local grocery option. They’re a deli/​specialty food store where there’s always a good choice of cheeses and fresh bread. The array of prepared foods behind the counter are always tempting, as is the assortment of fancy teas they feature against the wall.
