In retrospect I spent far too much on one meal. I never eat enough to get enough out of buffets. The great part is variety. I tried so many dishes and it was delightful. Now that I know what I like, I would buy a la carte. If you’re unsure go for the £20 buffet

I could not have been more disappointed. I arrived for dinner, and asked to order from the menu instead of the buffet. After asking three or four times, and being refused, it was obvious that I would have to choose the buffet or go elsewhere. It had been too long a day to trudge around, so I decided to stay. To cut things short, the service was simply awful, the selection was poor, the food was bland, devoid of heat, and neither authentic nor inspired. At 20 pounds for a buffet, I expect something decent or better, and here I was horribly let down. Avoid this place at all costs.

Normally my reviews on here are positive as I like to support good businesses. Sadly this time I cannot. £20 for an evening buffet is only reasonable if there are choices. however there were only 5 starter items including onion rings, chips and samosas, The mains were also limited with 6 different mains and two types of rice. The food was ok but the service was slow and there is only room for 150 people as there is no space to move really. I’m sure at a busy lunchtime this probably wouldn’t matter and lunch must be this business priority as they are a right next to a massive daytime venue. We were told a naan was included however we had to chase after these. I won’t eat there on my next visit to ExCeL there are far better choices in the venue itself.

Worth a visit for lunch anyway. We stopped in for lunch because of a show at the ExCel. It was £12 for the lunch buffet which was worth the price. Everything we had was quite good. There can’t be too much better close to that venue.

An alright indian Buffet. When we went I though it was lacking in dishes and they were not that great either. Been to much better places in bradford and birmingham. Pricy enough as well! i’ve a funny feeling the dishes off the main menu were probably better but we never got chance to try them so sorry!

There is a buffet here but my dinner companions and i opted to order off the menu. I had the Chicken Vindaloo. I was warned by the waitress that it was very spicy. I said to her«if you can make it even spicier the better.» I almost laughed in her face. I’m from Texas! AND i’m Asian. There is no such thing as too hot. I took a bite from my main. I could feel steam coming out of my ears but i kept calm and ate on, it was destroying my insides. oh my god. This was truly HOT and i loved it. My head was a torch. A couple of people snuck a bite from my dish and looked at me in horror. It was heaven. A fiery sweltering heaven. I’ve been dreaming about that Chicken Vindaloo ever since. I sampled a few bites from my husband’s dish. It was really tasty. I can’t remember what he ordered but it was very flavorful. The chicken vindaloo is labeled as being«very hot» and they are not kidding. Not sure if they actually made my dish hotter or if thats just the way they serve it. Fantastic.
