Went here twice for breakfast while staying in London for 3 days. The pancakes are amazing, made with buttermilk and with blueberries inside and on top. Coffee is pretty good too, and the staff are great and atmosphere a perfect antidote to the grey weather outside

Bill’s is a chain, and for a chain it’s not that bad. Service was ok, came here for breakfast, had eggs bene, eggs royale and pancakes to share. Would’ve given a higher rating but the coffee was terrible… Americano, flat white and cappucino… All sadly terrible. The fresh orange juice was good though!

I just wanted to get a nice English breakfast and Bill’s looked quirky and comfy, so I gave it a try… I now wish I’d have headed down the road to a small, family-run place that I know serves great breakfast. Alas, I like trying new things, so there I was, sitting in a cute, hipstery looking restaurant, flipping through the menu. It took a while for the staff to finally come over and take my order. I ordered Bill’s breakfast with baked beans and asked for no mushrooms. Of course, when the food finally arrived over half an hour later, it had a big pile of mushrooms right on the middle of the plate. My server was gone before I even had the chance to say anything, so I just ate around it. The bacon was undercooked, the eggs overcooked and the rest quite unremarkable. Overall it was probably the worst English breakfast I’ve ever been served. It then took me another 20 Minutes to get the attention of my server to finally get the bill, pay and leave. So, in closing, it was an hour wasted on subpar food and bad service.

The first time I went there it was a year ago for a dinner with a friend. The food was quite nice so I decided to go back for breakfast and I had exactly what I wanted: a good English breakfast with beans potatoes bacon and tomatoes. And everything was cooked as I like it! They also have loads of other choices for breakfast(even pancakes) so I am sure anyone can find what they want. And it’s breakfast the whole day! So no pressure in regards to the time! And it’s quite well located. This restaurant is right at the exit of the tube station(hammersmith and City line) or 1 min from the other tube station for the picadilly line. So good location good food I would recommend!

Bill’s is a good place to go when you wan to grab a quick bite or just don’t know where to go. The interior is quite nice and the food is tasty but it’s not a very inspiring place. It’s a big food chain and you can feel it in the atmosphere but fortunately my expectations weren’t high and I just wanted to quickly eat something in the neighborhood. Personally I find the prices quite high for what you get, although my chickpeas and halloumi salad was quite nice and it was a lot for a starter. I’d just rather spend my money in a nice and unique restaurant than in a restaurant you see everywhere, but that’s my choice.

Although it’s a chain, every Bills restaurant is different and they’re all slightly quirky — this one is no different. The shelves are lined with homemade jams and lemonade and the atmosphere is really homely. I’ve been here a few times and really like it. The food menu has a lot of variety with something for everyone, but their burgers and their Mac cheese are both amazing.(The Mac cheese often changes with the season so in January it had sweet potato and pumpkin seeds which was delish!). Have gone there a few times on a lunch break with the office and they’re able to accommodate large groups of people. I have also gone there for afternoon tea and sat outside which was lovely(albeit Hammermsith is very noisy). All in all, a great restaurant with delicious food and a warm cosy atmosphere.

I had a lovely meal in Bills :) the food is great, drinks are reasonably priced and it was lovely sitting outside on the terrace.

We came here after hearing one of my coworkers RAVING about Bill’s. Thought we’d give it a go since we were starving and happened to be walking past. The building is nice and the décor is quite modern with a rustic twist. The menu is quite large but if you can’t eat gluten there is hardly anything available to you, especially if you also can’t eat dairy. It’s quite odd, they have an allergens menu and provide gluten free bread if you want it, but things that don’t need to have gluten in, do! Like the potatos and fries etc for example. I know coating them makes them crispier but you’re excluding a whole market there guys! I really like that they use free range eggs, that earns 2 bonus points, but I don’t like that the lights are kept on inside despite it being a very light and bright day. They’re unnecessary so it’s just wasting power. As I could pretty much eat NOTHING on the lunch/day menu I ended up going hungry. My other half ordered the burger which he said was honestly quite awful. The patty, while a decent size, ultimately felt store bought. The quality just wasn’t there and that ruined the whole thing. It was hugely lacking in flavour and ‘realness’. The staff were pretty much not onto it, unaccommodating and just kind of spaced out. Yes it was busy but they just seemed confused the whole time. Service was also very slow. We were hugely underwhelmed and unimpressed and won’t be going back.

So, this place is new, and it certainly has a bang of ‘chain’ off it. However, that being said it still holds a certain charm and didn’t disappoint on the three times myself and my girlfriend have been there. Consistently tasty food with a menu for all tastes. It’s also really affordable(well, London affordable) with friendly and attentive staff. I look forward to sitting outside when the summer hits.

Tbh if you’re looking up reviews for Bill’s then you’re a lost cause anyway. It’s the same as any other Bill’s, equally crap. But you should probably go here so that the rest of us can visit the good places.
