Do you know anyone who shops in Bhs? No, me neither.
This particular outlet in Wood Green looks like it is permanently stuck in the seventies abyss. The store is incredibly dated, both inside and out. Shopping there feels like being transported to another era. The merchandise is bland, non-​descript and uninspiring, from fashion to household items. I browsed through the shop and failed to find a single item I wanted to buy. Low prices might be the only thing going for this department store. The shoppers there all seemed to be distinctly lower class, and this being a low-​end part of town (I’m resisting the urge to call it slums), Bhs probably have nothing to worry about when it comes to regular turnover.
