Some Benugos work, and some don’t — it entirely depends on the layout. Thankfully this is one of the better ones as there is one long counter. This is important because you’ll order your sandwich from one group of people, work your way down the counter to pay and then pick up at the far end. In other Benugos you have to double back on yourself and it ends up being a bit of a jumble. I particularly recommend the Korean pulled pork special when they do it. It’s the best thing they do by a country mile, although frankly nothing is bad here. I once ordered an Italian deli sandwich by mistake thinking it had meat in it — only to find out once I got back to the office that it didn’t. But after I took a bite I no longer cared because it was simply the best veggie sandwich I’ve ever had. Simply fabulous. But really it’s the layout that sets this Benugo apart — they’ve got it nailed here and it all works.

Thought I would give somrewhere other than Starbucks or Nero or Pret a try! I’ve seen a Benugo before but it never looked that inviting. This particular store is a little different in that it’s light and cosy… perfect for a pit stop on your way to a business meeting or taking a coffee break during a shopping trip. They offer a range of hot and cold breakfasts. The prices are much more reasonable than Pret. The variety is also impressive. Lots of seating, lots of checkout points with staff available. Sandwiches aew handmade on site. Lots of snacks to choose from. Also love the way that they have calorie labels. Perfect for health conscious people.
