Late Knights brewery pub. Late Knights have been doing really well and this is not the bar they have opened recently. The venue is all stripped down, but never dressed back up… in that you can see all the buildings entrails. I actually quite like the style. I had the beer called Crack of Dawn who’s name was also a cringeworthy tagline for a club 18 – 30 advert back when I was in the lower part of that age bracket. The beer had a little bit more sourness to it that I would expect from a straight up American Pale.

This is a beer heaven, literally. The variety of beers available there is absolutely second to none: Ale, Lager, Cider… You name it. The pint ranges from £3.5 is to roughly £6 for the premium ones. I had an Ale on one of these rare sunny Sundays in London, and it was good. The location does not really pay justice to the place. Close to Queens Road Peckham Station with nice outdoor seats, but there is no way to enjoy the sun if you want to as it’s covered by a tree. It can be quite packed inside though, which says a lot about the quality of the beer. Loved it, will go again. And again. And Again! :)

If you are a beer lover then this it’s a fair bet you’ll like this place, it boasts having on at any time 10 different keg beers, 4 cask ales and 4 decent ciders. Like the beer rebellion in Gypsy Hill the bar is located close to a railway station. The ambience inside is dimmed lighting, with a young friendly crowd. Prices are on the slightly high side no doubt due to Peckham suddenly becoming cool. The bar staff are however both friendly and knowledgeable. My only criticism is they would benefit from more seating inside.
