Happy hour 8pm — 10pm! Two cocktails for £8.95. Busy but nice atmosphere on a Fri night with a DJ spinning some great tunes (chart, R&B, old school).
Minimal food menu including pizzas stonebaked in their oven behind the bar and some pasta dishes.
Hip little place. Would recommend!

Our colleagues and I went for dinner and drinks as a team, and Barsmith was perfect for the occasion.
Their pizzas were solid, with quite the variety to choose from. I went for the meatball pizza and really enjoyed it, though I wished they had bigger meatballs. Other dishes on the menu looked good too, ranging from spaghetti and meatball to a variety of bar snacks.
Their cocktail menu was equally impressive and very enjoyable. Likewise, they had a good selection of beer and wine, suitable to the full gamut of tastes people might have.
Ambience was the perfect balance of fun, spacious and yet not too noisy. I was glad I could reasonably converse with my colleagues without having to shout.
Service was good, though note that it’s mostly ordering at the bar. They did serve our food to the table promptly, though, which was good.
All in all, I would recommend the place, either for a small gathering or a bigger team drink.

Can’t fault this place, it’s like the ideal after party venue! I went with a couple of fellow Unilocalers for some food after the newbie cocktail event and what a find! They have a happy hour — from 8 – 10 on cocktails! What on earth! Practically unheard of in central London and the choice is like seriously decent — from pisco sours to red light martinis! You definitely can’t go wrong with the place! Food wise, they have large pizzas, which are so yummy, you’re gonna ravish the plate! Be warned you’re gonna leave with full belly when you leave here and you are gonna love it!
Last but not least — check in on Facebook and get a free shot. There’s a massive list on the wall to choose from — from coffee rum to the more adventurous nectarine elderflower liqueur… The choice is endless, so knock yourself out!

Nice cocktails, and the happy hour from 8−10pm (2 for 1 on selected cocktails) makes it great value. The food is great as well — we shared some pizzas and arancini balls with truffle dip and everything arrived pretty quickly and was delicious.

A visit for a colleagues leaving do led to a fab night out — great cocktails and yum pizza.
We booked a table for a few hours from 5.30. It was pretty empty when we arrived but by sixish there was a nice buzz.
Staff were friendly and cocktails were made at reasonable speed.
What I love about this place is their quirky cocktails. Happy hour starts at 7 on weekdays. And is actually happy 4 hours as it lasts until 11.
The cocktail menu is extensive but the happy hour menu (241) consists of 8ish. Really recommend Fig’r me out & Wild One. At £9 for 2 it makes for a messy Thursday night. Alsooo if you check in on Facebook you get a free shot of one of their infused spirits. The choices are really cool — from elderflower liquor and white chocolate vodka to marmite vodka or mushroom vodka.
We also got some food. The pizzas are stone baked and the smell is amazing! The dough is good with generous toppings. It also tasted good!

The cocktails and pizza deal is kind of hard to beat. Both are very very good, although they could definitely stand to put a bit more alcohol in the former.
The inside is great, exposed brick.
The bartenders are kind of jerks, just as a heads up.
It can get pretty crowded so definitely call ahead if you want a table.

This is an excellent post-​work drinks spot. Even more so as my office is about 3 doors away.
On Friday afternoon about 4pm onwards, this place really picks up and is a great go-​to for a few nice pints with those you spend the week with. Simple bar food is available and although i’ve never gone there, it does look more than handy.
The main draw here for me would be the array of choices at the bar. If you’re into the craft beers and cider then you’re not going to want to leave. Some nice bottles of beer also, which actually includes a mexican beer I was trying to track down for months. Win.
Great little spot in a up and coming area. Also an all-​day happy hour on Saturday. Probably see you in there then…

**2 for 1 cocktails and pizzas all day Saturday**
Just near the Farringdon stop, my wife and I stumbled into Smith Bar looking for good atmosphere and relatively inexpensive drinks. Here, we found both.
Formerly known as the Long Room, this place used to be a craft beer pub and has reopened as a cocktail bar with craft beer and pizza.
The atmosphere us great — open but quaint. 2 for 1 cocktails all day Saturday! Yes, you read that correctly, two for one cocktails all day on Saturday! The cocktails seem to all be based around a bunch of house-​infused alcohols.
They also have 2 for 1 pizza all day Saturday — I’ll be back to evaluate their pizza selection, but for now this review is all about the bar.
The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was fun but mild (they’ve only reopened a week ago) and at two for one cocktails you can’t beat the price!
