Sowas habe ich tatsächlich bisher noch nicht erlebt. Das Restaurant ist an sich zwar ganz nett (auch wenn das Speisezimmer, dass wir mit 20 Personen hatten im Keller war), der Service nett und aufmerksam und auch die Speisen waren durchaus schamckhaft, aber die Wartezeiten vor dem Essen und zwischen den einzelnen Gängen waren einfach zu lang, insb. wenn man bedenkt, dass wir nicht spontan dort eingefallen sind, sondern bereits Tage vorher reserviert wurde, und unser Essen nicht à la carte gewesen ist, sondern das Menü bereits vorher ausgewählt war. En detail: Ankunft bis Vorspeise: 45 Minuten, Vorspeise bis Hauptgang: 60 Minuten, Haputgang bis Dessert: 45 Minuten, in Summe 2,5 Stunden für ein dreigängiges Menü!!!
Mein Fazit: Zumindest für Gruppen durchgefallen, auch wenn die Speisen und der
Service gut waren und 4 Sterne verdient hätten und auch die Location und das Ambiente 3 Sterne würdig sind. Mit den langen Wartezeiten können es leider nur wohlwollende 2 Sterne werden.

I am writing this review in a state of exquisite food ecstasy. The meal we have just enjoyed has been exceptional — the flavours, quality and service. This is my new favourite place to eat!
After a glass of prosecco, we indulged in starters of the chargrilled octopus and baby squid. Both were amazing. For mains we had the octopus spaghettini and the pulled pork baked in angel hair pasta. The pulled pork was about the best thing I’ve eaten all year. For dessert we had the hazelnut tiramisu and millefeuille with coffee and star anise.
To accompany our food fest we had a glass of rosé each, plus a dessert wine and after dinner cocktail each. The bill came to £132 including a 12.5% service charge and a complimentary limoncello (including the open table discount). Worth every penny! We will be back…

To be transparent, this review is for a business dinner so is probably not fully representative of their regular menu. But overall Bacco is just average. Average décor and average food. I had the risotto which is okay, a little salty. Tiramiso was good. The appetizers were overly fried. Nothing super special.

The first impression is great. Tables very nicely set and great welcome.
We sat outside on the terrace in the backyard and enjoyed the warm weather.
The food is great and it tastes really amazing but the prices are a little high. 4 small bruschetta with 2 mozzarella balls for £10.
Though the presentation of the food is amazing. I really enjoyed the risotto.
Service I found it a little slow. Maybe it was me or just the day (it was very hot outside) but I thought they were slow to serve. The food took quite a while.
Overall great food. Check out their offer (50% off food if a starter and main course is taken from a la carte).

My other half and I booked this for our anniversary; we didn’t know where we wanted to eat so we chose this on TablePouncer the night before because they did 50% off with a free class of prosecco. We were running late so rang them up to ask to delay the table for half an hour, which we didn’t think they’d be able to do due to our reduced booking. However they were extremely accommodating and let us come later. The staff were lovely, very polite and Italian! The service was all perfectly timed and not intrusive or rushed. For starters we had duck breast and deep fried rabbit (which we were dubious about). Both were delicious and presented well. We also fancied garlic bread but it wasn’t on the menu so the waiter said he would ask the chef if it was possible — they then brought some out with the starters which was great that they did it especially for us! They then brought a mini snack of fried pasta which was lovely and a nice gesture. For mains we had rigatoni with cheese pepper and lime, very tasty but the lime maybe a bit strong. Also had raviolacci filled with spinach ricotta lemon and nutmeg which was so yummy! We didn’t want dessert but they brought us a small shoot of drink which was again a nice gesture. With the discount it was only £27 each (with a bottle of wine) which we thought was amazing value. All in all we had such a good evening and wasn’t too thank the staff for making it so special.

Amazing house wine.
I enjoyed their asparagus salad as a starter to share with my sister. The perfectly poached egg with delicious parmesan is a must try! This dish alone got me back into Asparagus. The location is wonderful, and the service is impeccable! They offered complimentary bread as they were a little busy servicing the large party next to ours — and THAT is wonderful service!
They seemed to comfortably accommodate parties of 10 – 15 comfortably (although the restaurant itself is small) but they braved it, and still offered great service to their other guests!
I enjoyed an ABSOLUTELY delicious tagliatelle, and I don’t even typically order that!
My sister’s risotto is probably the best possible way to go on the menu.
Nevertheless, the entire menu accommodates people of all palates, and I would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat.
The only reason why I am giving this a 4 star review is because I was not absolutely STUNNED by the food, it was good.

Fantastic little Italian fare. Good pasta and fish. Very authentic, just like a momma made back in the old country. Service was excellent. They knew I was Italian and treated me like a king. Unfortunately, I don’t speak more than 5 words in Italian, so I felt like an idiot when I said «gratzi» and the waiter just started going on and on in Italian. I sheepisly had to tell hiim I didn’t speak Italian.
Owner is from Naples, if that matters to anyone. Definitely coming back.
They’ve got some really good deals on Top Table, 50% off all food. Spent about 50 pounds on a bottle of wine and 2 full courses for 2.

Totally acceptable, but nothing special.
Two girlfriends and I popped in here for dinner last night. We were mostly drawn in by the promise of their garden where we could eat outside. On that account, the place was lovely. The garden is really nice and it was a treat to eat outside on one of the first nice days of summer. The food here is fine, but really nothing special. My side salad was sort of lackluster and didn’t taste like much. One of my friends had mussels that looked amazing though, and my pasta dish was good (but not great). It’s reasonably priced, especially for the area, but really not a place to seek out.
That said, we were so ludicrously raucous at dinner that I’m pretty sure all of the other people sharing the garden with us were so annoyed that they will never be back. So maybe you should go just to boost their business a bit!
