Ashburn Hotel

Beautiful cozy hotel, great customer service, staff will do anything to make your stay delightful and very close to the Tube. Would stay again when we come back.

Classy, clean, Idyllic
Hotel Ashburn is located on the Cromwell Road, SW7, close to Royal Albert Hall, Science Museum, V&A museum… A few minutes walking to Harrod’s, Brompton’s Road… etc… The lobby is not that large, but the team is nice, professional and very smart to make you feel «at home». The King Room room we booked was large enough for 2 (Despite that we are used to larger room), with a very nice couch, 2 plasma TV, a queen bed (normal size bed. not extra large). The bathroom was large enough and very both Shower/​Bathtub. All was very clean, despite a few «little» dusts in the bathroom ceiling spots lights and on the corner in the bathroom (but that is usually the case in more of hotels though)… The 4 stars are quite appropriated for this hotel… Anyway, 1 point is to mention. If you don’t want to pay an extra charge of £5, you have to take the breakfast in the room devoted on the low floor… Taking breakfast in your room is charged of £5 !!! Amazing for a 4 stars not to get an in-​room service included in the bill !! The breakfast is tasty, with a lot to eat and quite hot… I shall go back to Ashburn without a single problem… Ask for the room 407 because some rooms we had a look to were VERY small for 2 !!!

I have stayed here twice and I love love love it. No it is not the Dorchester or the Mandarin Oriental, but it is in a category all of its own. It is an adorable old townhouse turned boutique hotel that offers superb service in the South Kensington area off Cromwell Road.
The location is great, about 30 minutes away from London Heathrow and 2 blocks away from the Gloucester Road tube stop. Within walking distance of Harrods and many other hidden treasures in the surround streets.
I will continue to stay in this hotel because it is never crowded, always clean, under great management, offer free breakfast buffet, and free Wi-​FI internet. You really cannot beat that in such an expensive city.
