Affinity

Due to a slight teenage obsession with Erykah Badu, I am a huge fan of chunky silver jewellery and huge stones (the bigger the better) especially turquoise. Affinity is a gorgeous jewellery store with some really unique pieces, many of them created by the owner of the shop.
Maybe he is a fan of Ms Badu too because the stuff he makes is big and beautiful. Think spear shaped medallions dripping with huge amethyst and moonstone rocks and cocktail rings fit for a Great Gatsby themed party, not the kind of jewellery you wear to accessorize an outfit, this jewellery in itself is the outfit.
Affinity also stock big brands like Storm and Diesel and they are having a huge sale at the moment with some absolute bargains to be found.

Affinity has a large stock of designer jewelery at reasonable prices. There is something for everyone to be found here, from earrings to cuff links. I fell in love with a pair of earrings for 20 pounds here, and had to get them. I soon found an excuse to treat myself, and came back for them.
There are also some fantastic necklaces with set stones, and slinky watches which would make for some great presents. These delicate pieces will turn some heads, and the sparkle won’t just be in your own eyes.
If I had to get something personal as a gift, I’d rather come to a smaller store with independent designs which are unique. The people here are also very friendly, and will help you find the perfect present.

This shop sells a variety of designer jewelery. The presentation is clear but perhaps a little dull — long glass cabinets surrounded by bright white walls — an attempt at minimalism, I think. However the shop has some good offers (I think!) such as Storm watches at £65 (reduced to £59 in the sale) and necklaces at £85 (reducded to £59 in the sale). The guy who I spoke to inside was very enthusiastic and helpful — not sure it’s a bartering place, but why not?! Have a go!
