Again a good, fun place for a drink. Busy and atmospheric and with nice décor and plenty of room and places to sit. The staff were really friendly and the drinks reasonably priced and I must say I thought the wine was much better than standard pub stuff.
Definitely want to try out the food here soon too — I’ve heard good reports.

Nice enough Pub with plenty of space.
Decent pints on tap but I would not order a Guinness from there as they can’t poor a pint of that for sh*t

The Lodge is one of many drinking establishments on Lark Lane, but it’s one I’ve always enjoyed. This place seems to have gotten a bad rap on Trip Advisor and, admittedly, I’m not a REGULAR there by any means but every time I’ve been in I’ve had zero complaints whatsoever. I’ve always found the staff to be totally fine and the drinks to be well priced. Maybe I just got lucky but they also seemed to actually know how to pour a Guinness.
I haven’t eaten in here but they do offer pies and, on the weekends, they do a roast dinner. I’m sure there’s more to choose from but this tends to be somewhere I pop in for a quick drink or two and it’s always been great in my experience.
