Lark Lane Newsagents is an excellent little shop. It is filled with everything you could possibly need. They stock stationary, pet food, groceries, ice cream, confectionery, toys, soft drinks, magazines, newspapers, snacks, tobacco and much much more. They have a bill paying facility which is very useful.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. There is definitely a lovely community feel to Lark Lane Newsagents.
If you happen pop in then look out for the homemade scones on the counter. They are made by the lady who runs the shop with her husband and they are simply the nicest scones I have tried in a very very long time!

A quaint and traditional newsagent always beats more modern establishments (such as ugh, Tesco Express or One Stop) and Lark Lane Newsagent’s is no exception.
With a great range of magazines, old– fashioned sweets, newspapers and general bits and bobs, you can’t go wrong really. Particular favourites include mint imperials from their vast selection.
Although it has a dated-exterior, Lark Lane Newsagent’s caters to all modern needs, offering a phone top-up service and cashback. Very handy indeed if you’re sauntering past in the area.
Service is always excellent and my favourite thing to do on a walk-home is pop in for a chocolate bar and a newspaper.
