Been coming here for time. They have everything as the other reviews say. Friendly staff, easy on the eye. Wide range of things, with some cool vibrations.

Fantastic shop for all alternative smoking products and paraphernalia. Friendly service from staff who are always up or a chat and a few jokes. Range of products is excellent.

This tobacconist on Bold street has a very bohemian feel to it which is much in keeping wth the atmosphere on the rest of Bold Street. This is a street which incorporates many aspects of young life and this store does exactly that and it retains a certain level of cool whilst doing so.
This store is in keeping with the coffee shop feel of the worlds’ strangest city Amsterdam although it is important to mention that no cannabis is sold on the premises and they do not encourage the purpose or usage of the drug in general. However it is hard to say that they do not hint at its’ usage as they even sell ‘souvenir’ cannabis seeds amongst other smoking paraphenalia.
In terms of paraphenalia this is heaven there is flavoured tobacco, blunts, skins, bongs ect you name it and they have it here. The staff are very friendly and they are always willing to help although they do not take kindly to cannabis being mentioned within the store which is understandable as they wish to keep there business as a wholly legitimate one.
If you wish to visit somewhere which has the sole purpose of recreating something taboo with a legitimate sense then this is your place and you may well enjoy the unique experience it provides.
The morality may be in question but there can be no doubt that this is a well run store which sells a wide range of products and caters well to the needs of the customers who visit.

I’m not a fan of ‘Head Shops’ there a bit of a pointless excercise really, aimed at naughty school kids who like to think they’re up to no good but if you’re over the age of 14 then you know everything here is above board and not really going to do much in the way of stimulating any psychotropic experiences.
The legal ‘highs’ here are the the same rubbish that you can buy in any similar outlets and lets face it they are rubbish — my few experiences with this stuff have been headaches and nausea, Liverpool’s gangland has nothing to fear!
What you really come to these places for are the owners and the various oddbods who hang around! If the conversation hasn’t turned to the most recent visit to ‘The Dam, lad’ then they must be in deep talk over Halo.
What I don’t understand is how smoking a j on the doorstep reinforces the NO WEED sign on the counter?!

Does your bookshelf include Howard Marks, William S. Burroughs, Ray Shell or Jim Carrol?
If the answer is yes, I imagine you’ll feel right at home in Dr. Herman’s. They don’t sell dope, weed, marijuana or crack. They do however, sell cannabis seeds, scales, skins, bongs and smoking paraphenalia. If you’re desperate to ‘tune in and drop out’ without growing anything, they also sell legal highs. How high they’ll make you depends on their potency and your resistance I guess!

This is the best head shop in Liverpool. There are a couple of other head shop/​newsagenty type places, but in terms of the volume of stock that these guys have and their location, they outshine the competition.
Dr Herman’s specialise in legal highs and drug related paraphernalia. They stock a wide range if bongs, pipes, skins, ashtrays, and legal highs. They were a prime location for buying Methadrone just before it became illegal last month. They have also been known to stock BZP and many other strong legal alternatives.
The staff are very helpful in recommending you what drug is best for you if you’re after an alternate buzz for a night out, including the recommended dosage etc. They are also very passionate about their job which is. Interesting!
One thing is certain, as certain as the bold poster as you enter the store. contrary to popular belief. ‘THEY DO NOT SELL WEED!’
Defiantly worth a visit although a little pricey in my book!

This is a shop of questionable things… if you wanted to get some of that until-​recently-​legal M-​cat/​meow/​plant fertiliser, this was the place to go. Of course, now it’s illegal, so they don’t sell it any more. They do sell cannabis seeds, but have a huge disclaimer quoting the such-​and-​such drugs act and claiming the seeds are only sold for educational purposes.
Perhaps if the educational purpose was teaching a class how to get high…
But I’m cynical and suspicious. I don’t know why. It’s not like you can buy all sorts of bongs and scales and stuff. Oh wait…
Still, if it was really dodgy it would’ve been shut down by now, and Dr Herman’s (as an enterprise) has been going since 1996. Check it out if you want to feel all mysterious and covert…
