Fantastic food at a very reasonable price. The mixed platter is outstanding as are the assortment of teas.

Amazing place and food! Strongly recommended! The place is small but very cosy, warm, with nice music and decoration and clean. The food is excellent, very tasty and aromatic! I have tried the Chicken Kofta wrap, the Mix Shawarma Platter and the Chicken Kofta grill and they were all amazingly cooked, with fresh ingredients, lovely spices and juicy meat and the portions are fairly large. I also had the Lebanese Rose Water tea, which is great! The only bad thing is that the place gets too busy that you probably have to wait a few minutes to be sitted, but the service is very quick and the staff very friendly and polite! Stronlgy recommended and I can’t wait to go again and also to try their delivery service. :)

I have had better Lebanese food, the flavor just isn’t there and this is based on their Lamb Shawarma and Kabsa dish. It is very bland, and the garlic sauce has no garlic taste to it. Although service was impeccable, I just do not think this place has good flavor Lebanese food.

Fairly large portion! We had the mezze platter for one and it was plentiful. My chicken shawarma wrap has chips inside which is a first to me. My girlfriend really enjoyed her Halloumi cheese burger. Staff are very nice and attentive.

Very pleased with the quality of the food but missed off a main meal from delivery and then, after agreeing to send it again, failed to send it! It was a shame because otherwise the food was very tasty.

This is such a great little café, very cute and casual, where you can enjoy tasty Lebanese street food from an inspired menu. They make great fresh juices(carrot, orange, and ginger was rejuvenating after a late night out) and my chicken shwarma wrap was great. Juicy chicken, tasty garlic sauce, and tangy pickles. We also split a tabbouli salad and some hummus, both of which were fresh and healthy-tasting. Lovely, affordable place to grab lunch. Absolutely worth a stop!

Discovered this great little café today. Very tasty genuine tasting food! We shared a meat mezze for 2 and it was really lovely, and filling for lunch! Good service and really interesting menu, there are a number of things I wanted to try. Will go back again for sure.

Location: Bold Street — a hip road! The entrance has beautiful tiles — modern middle eastern style with cute mosaic. Lovely, stylish venue with an awesome painted wall with arabic calligraphy. I came here because I loved the ambiance inside — it was full but everyone was so happy and relaxed. Food: I ordered lamb shawarma and panache drink(mixed fresh fruit smoothie) which was über delicious! The shawarma was divine, mouth watering and well seasoned. They accept only CASH but there is a cash machine not far from the venue. I will definitely come back(impressed by the staff because they were super friendly and very attentive at busy lunch time).

Recommended by a fellow food blogger I was expecting Bakchich to be more a restaurant than a café. Pleasantly surprised to find the latter this Lebanese street food café is located halfway up Bold Street amongst many other independent restaurants and cafes. We ordered the mezze platter to share and were treated to houmous, babaganoush, falafel, salad, fattoush and flat breads to mop it all up with. For the bargain price of £12.95 between us we were delighted with this impressively fresh spread. This is typical Lebanese street food so the menu is simple yet flavourful and fresh. I can’t wait to go back and try more, we left stuffed with mezze and spent less than £20 including our drinks. What is better than that?!

A cash-only Lebanese restaurant on Liverpool’s Bold Street, Bakchich offers plentiful and well made«street food» in a friendly and alcohol-free environment. We shared the mezze platter for two and found it to be an interesting and filling mix of falafals, hummus, salad, pickles and more.
