Barefoot Herbs, perfectly serves the need of the younger hippyish community which have relocated to Lewes, often from Brighton, as well as anyone who just wants to give alternative therapies and medicines a try.
This small store, just off the high street, does not look like much from the outside but once your in there is a wealth of medievally named things such as Cramp Bark, Devil’s Claw and Goldenrod (actually that could sound like something completely different!).
