Whether it be the summer or winter, The Lakeside Café & Restaurant is the perfect place for a coffee or a bite to eat. Excellent view of the park and lake. Great for families.

Went here 2 weeks ago and found the cakes dry from been in the chiller too long. Very popular because of the view but products dry and tastless for the price. Better tea rooms out there or take a picnic, family of 4 will be paying well over £20 just for tea and cakes.

Now this place has a great view of the Lake good facilities and a decent enough menu. The problem lies in the prices the ckaes prices are quite good the coffeee prices arent to bad but the sanwich prices are just a bit steep for a café. They do a roast and from what I can tell a decent enough breakfast have a full bar and spirit area for there bar. A big bonus goes to them actually having a childrens chaging facility in the mens room these are few are far between and makes for a good thing for Dad’s that arent afriad of being seen in public changing their kids diaper. This a great place if your in the park and are hungry right there and then or fancy a bit of a relaxed atmosphere with a cuppa tea or coffee and a good view.

Lovely little café next to the lake in Roundhay Park. Gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding trees. Food is delicious HUGE cakes!
