Mister Chippy

With its disturbing cartoon characters and Formica tables, Mister Chippy looks like the sort of place you might go to get lunch in a theme park. If the theme park had closed down twenty years ago. However, despite appearances this is a decent fish and chip shop, with a huge piece of fish costing just £2.30. My friend and I opted to pay and extra 70p for chips on our visit, which I ate while he tucked into the fish. The chips were good, thickly cut and not as greasy as you might expect, while the fish was fantastic value for the price.
