This stall in Leeds City Market is bringing herbal remedies to the masses. It doesn’t look out of place here as it is presented and arranged as many of the market stalls are, not too neatly with lots of signs everywhere. These are especially useful as next to each product it explains which herb or supplement can be used for which aliment. All too frequently health food shops selling similar products don’t have any information on the remedies which is no good if you’re not an expert in the field. Herbsville sells Chinese herbs, Ayurvedic remedies(traditional Indian herbal medicine), Western-based remedies and vitamins. The guy working at the stall knows his stuff and is happy to chat to anyone and advise which is the best supplement for you.

With a name which makes it sound like a one-horse town located in the deep midwest, Herbsville stocks a large variety of Chinese and Western herbal supplements and remedies. Whilst browsing the array of unfamiliar items, I was hoping to purchase a product to preserve my waning, Winter wearied immune system. I explained my plight to the man in charge and he patiently explained a few items to me, outlining their individual benefits. On closer inspection, I was slightly alarmed by the seemingly elevated prices. Herbsville offers remedies for problematic areas of health across the spectrum, ranging from digestion to depression, immune system to insomnia and sinusitis to skin disorders. Although the internet does offer cheaper alternatives, the customer service at Herbsville is appealing, despite my lack of knowledge of the industry.

What a great name. Herbsville specialises in herbal remedies from the cheap to the very very pricey. With a charming man owning the shop, it is very easy to go in nd have a chat about what it is you need, if you are into herbal remedies. Whilst some of the well known products don;t cost the earth, there are a couple of treatments that you may want to steer clear of(as I have said before, anything costing over a tenner in the market feels like you’re being ripped off.), so do your research before you indulge.
