Well this is an unusual place to say the least. We visited Knutsford for the day and were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch. There’s no shortage of eateries in town but most were offering more substantial meals than we were looking for, which was why we ended up here. You can’t actually see the café from any of the roads in Knutsford because you access it via small alleys. Once there, they have a large courtyard with out door seating and old street signs, and then the main café itself is in a low building along one side of the yard. After sitting down a very friendly member of staff came and took our order and was able to make recommendations about things we should try on the menu. Sparky ordered the salt and pepper chicken(which was a special that day) and I had carrot and coriander soup with a chicken and pesto sandwich. All very nice, but nothing outstanding. The«museum» element of this place is unusual to say the least. Make no mistake, this is first and foremost a café, but one which happens to be filled with all manner of old bikes, including penny farthings. Each was numbered, so I guess there was some kind of guidebook we could have accessed but it would be a very odd thing to do because you would basically be wandering around the other diners as you try and view all the bikes. TL;DR — Quirky little café tucked away in a courtyard with a cute old bicycle theme.
