Hmmmm… not the best but surprisingly was ok this time… just ok…
This place is located about 5 mins walk from my inlaws and I must have been here twice in 10 years which I guess is saying something. Once I went about 5 years ago and it wasn’t nice at all, very heavy and a real over-​fatty taste/​smell to everything.
So when my MIL suggested we get fish and chips for Good Friday, I was sceptical but thought why not give it another chance — and I did.
The fish was ok if a bit dry, the chips were ok — price was ok at around £5. That’s all I can say really — I’ve had far tastier and nicer fish and chips around.
