Incredibile e autentico ristorante Italiano! Arranged a birthday meeting for my crew and I knew from the initial contact by the very charming manager, Giovanni, we would not be disappointed here. I was also still craving proper Italian cuisine so we had to stop in. The venue is not huge but that is a good thing. It is oh so, cosy… so cosy that we started at lunchtime and ended up at dinner time here. Yes, there is some kind of force that compells you to stay & stay we did! The lighting is cool and the seating is well spaced. There is a small bar area as you enter and you will be greeted by the most pleasant staff I’ve come across in a good while. The restrooms are small but in clean and very good maintained order. Nothing scary in there at all. Love the citrus handwash products too. We had quite a selection of items and every single one was a little plate of happiness. I’m telling you, I was ready to poo-poo the pasta but I could not. It was made by Italians and not remotely overcooked! Did you hear me! It was not cooked beyond salvation. The wines we had complemented everything and again, Giovanni was a perfetto host. I am sitting here typing this and wishing I was sitting back in there with another dish of something delicate, filling and very homemade. We had such an amazing afternoon/evening here and are already planning our return. Thank you to everyone at La Dolce Vita Islington for making our event that much more special.
