I have just consumed the most amazing platzl made entirely of ingredients from this deli/bakery. The bagels and platzls are far better than the Brick Lane bakers(I think more authentically produced). The deli fillings of cream cheese, smoked salmon pâté(prefer this to the slices) and cucumber are really good. Also like the chopped herring. Some of the cakes are an acquired taste. Don’t forget it isn’t open on Saturday.

The best place for bagels in the area! Particularly as they are open very late where you can pick up freshly made bagels and chollas. They also have many cakes and danish’s as well as chopped liver, potato salad, fish balls etc. They also do catering for events.

This bagel bakery offers top notch snacks of really good quality with excellent variety. The bagel fillings are vast, with cream cheese, smoked salmon, egg and onion, chopped herring and salmon pâté being a small selection of the many choices on offer. There are biscuits and cakes sold, which are simply divine, and when I enquired as to how they make them so tasty, I was told that a French patisserie chef was responsible for them, no wonder! The very late opening hours(midnight and beyond) means that many people take advantage of the delights within this better than average bagel bakery.
