Dannys Pie & Mash

The staff are the most friendliest people I have met, always smiling and helpful. Very clean and well presented. Lovely and traditional. Food is probably the best Pie & Mash I have tasted, always given plenty of Liquor. Pie’s are hot and very yummy! I visit almost every week now! A hidden treasure. Prices are I would say average for this type of food and they offer a OAP discount.

Danny’s pie and mash is a local treasure. Well it is if you live near it. If you live in Canada, not so much.
When shoe shops, charity shops and gormless coffee shops are crowding the high street, it’s a relief that we have something family-​run and friendly like Danny’s Pie & Mash. There isn’t really a lot to say about this place — other than it’s cheap, clean and tastes great. What else do you need to know?.
It’s as traditional as they come — and at a time when other small businesses in the high street are suffering; this place is always busy.
I should also mention the breakfasts. If you’re hungry and it’s early; you should go get a ‘Cockney Blowout’ or ‘The Biggest Breakfast In Barkingside’. More sausage, egg and bacon than you can handle!
