I love the location of this pub, great to sit outside with views up and down the Humber. Fairly typical pricing, I paid £7.20 for 2 pints of San Miguel. There’s always a good choice of unusual/guest beers if that’s your thing. The interior is nothing special and not somewhere I’d linger for long. On this visit they were showing a soccer match on the tv which was attracting a certain clientele.

One of the best pubs in Hull, with a good range of drinks (including tea coffee and a range of real ales). The views out over the Humber are great and there’s an outdoor seating are that allows you to make the most of them. There’s also a good range of well-cooked meals available, decent portions at affordable prices.

The Minerva is my idea of what a pub should be like. Good beer, pleasant surroundings, and if I’m feeling peckish, a selection of good food.
The Minerva scores highly on all levels, and I have wiled away many-a-weekend-afternoon here since it re-opened (Craig I assume you felt that your 2008 review was no longer applicable).
Being on the waterfront, the prices are a little inflated, but not so much that it’d put you off coming again. Thumbs up for The Minerva.

Unlike some people (Craig wtf?) I have actually been here since it re-opened, It is a fair enough place with a niceish view. There’s not much variety in choice of beer though.
The staff are friendly but in no rush to serve you. It is decorated tastefully and modestly with boat related paraphernalia.
I’d certainly go back but I’m in no rush to go again.

After re-opening this pub situated near the peir in Hull and by the marina is a great place to call at on a summers day as well as if you want a quiet drink on a night good selection of ales and a good selection of food.
Great views over the river Humber
And a Landlord that seem interested in keeping the area vibrant
