Came here after the first half of the Ale Trail on a Friday night, based on other Unilocal reviews, without a reservation. They were able to seat us within 10 minutes and took such great care of us. They were quite busy but paid special attention to my little one and made the experience really special. It looks family owned and the mother took our order quick and was so sweet wanting to get food for this starving preggo. The food was absolutely amazing! One of the best meals I’ve ever had! I had seafood pasta and it was flavorful and full of seafood. Fresh, not the tiny stuff. My other half was also wowed by his dish and they made a special little plate of spaghetti bolognese for my daughter which was incredible! I don’t even like spaghetti bolognese but I ended up eating her leftovers! If you are looking for authentic, delicious Italian look no further! In fact, I believe we’re coming back tomorrow because our experience was so fantastic!

Myself, my wife and four friends dined here last night. The whole experience was superb, fantastic and wonderful. The food was authentic and delicious! A must go to restaurant if you love Italian food.

The restaurant has a charming Mediterranean feel, we were
greeted by the Capocameriere who gave us a choice of table.
The staff were warm and friendly,
we ordered a bottle of wine which was opened at the table, our order was taken
within 10 minutes of arriving and we were served a dish of delicious olives and
thinly sliced bread whilst we waited for our starters to arrive. My starter of Pescata Trinacria calamari, whitebait, huge
king prawns in the shell and delicate slices of fried courgette and potato with
a creamy dip was very good although it could have easily been served as a main
course, the rest of the meal was just as good and the portions were just as
generous. I sent my complements to the chef who came into the
restaurant and I thanked him personally, as Italian restaurants go for me this
is one of the best and I’d highly recommend anyone to visit. Forgot to add, the earlybird menu is the same as the usual
menu, you can choose any starter and any main for £14.99.
