The best dining experience in London so far and by far. Five stars for the food and three stars for the slowish service. The scallops were some of the best I had with pork belly and artichoke hearts. The beef with foie gras was also first class and the wine by the glass awesome. Overall not terribly pricy either for what you get.

A top notch dining experience regardless of what your reference point is. La Belle Époque doesn’t miss any opportunity to delight the eyes and palate. Tasting Menu is an excellent way to explore the Kitchen talents but everything on the Menu is superb.

This place helps with the jet lag after 9 hours on the Delta flight from Seattle. My wife and I were beginning a 3 week holiday to the UK and decided to stay at the airport hotel to adjust time zones. We weren’t expecting anything special but were surprised by the large number of menu choices for both food and wine and the excellent service at this restaurant at the Sofitel Hotel. If you like French cuisine, you will like this place.
