First impressions were positive from the front of the building. Inside it was slightly dated and boring. No atmosphere. Menu looked dull and like yo would expect from a Chain. We were ready to leave and then thought there was no where else in the sleepy area to try. So we gave it a go as it was late and we were hungry. Well what a surprise. Good portions, good quality food and well presented.

The best thing about this pub is undoubtably the lovely sunny backgarden, it is enclosed so children can run around quite safely. The food is average. The staff can sometimes seem a little snobby and not make you feel that welcome to sit in the pub when you have children with you
