Booked a table here as it’s equidistant between where I live in Harrow and with my cousin who lives in Essex and neither of us had been there before! It’s quite a small pub so I’m really glad that we booked our table. The menu is on a huge chalk board on one wall. It’s quite an extensive menu although I fear a true vegetarian would have difficulty short of a salad. I’d ordered poached salmon and you could choose from chips, mashed potatoes, jacket potatoes and mushy peas, peas or salad to go with it. My piece of salmon was huge but was beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful. The portion sizes were good so much so my cousin couldn’t finish everything on his plate! There wasn’t a big choice of desserts(I wasn’t tempted but had a pot of filter coffee instead). It was nice food, well cooked and presented and we felt it wasn’t bad value for £25 per head. Definitely one to use your satnav to find, though!
