Excellent food, good value and friendly staff. Kids were welcome and we will be back. Recommended!

The rose and crown is alright but it’s neither here nor there. It doesn’t come across as a good food place or as a drinking pub. Its location means that you don’t have to go into town which is definately a plus unless you are on a proper booze up when it then becomes a bit isolated.
The car park which is a good size is next to the pub and there are seats outside for those who want to listen to the road traffic.
It is always busy so it is probabally worth judging for yourself but it is just not my cup of tea.
