I was taken here by my brother who lives in nearby Ledbury. He said that it was highly prized for its real ale range and deserving of a visit. And boy was it worth the train journey.
The ales are fantastic, including old favorites from the Dorothy Goodbody range, Butty Bach and HPA (Hereford Pale Ale). The Wye Valley brewery is based here.
The service was a tad slow, but that’s to be expected at such a popular place. Could have done with a few more ladies in view to brighten up the surroundings, as inside is a bit bare-boards.
But there’s Sky Sports TV available too, so overall it was an excellent choice. Cheers bro.
