Stopped by Henley on Thames for Sunday lunch with friends — what a beautiful town! The Little Angel really embraces it’s surroundings and perfectly reflects the country pub type feel. Inside feels bright and airy offering a great atmosphere. Kid friendly and dog friendly. Went for the roast beef Sunday dinner (obviously) — top marks. Boyfriend had the burger which was polished off quickly. Great service and good value for money. In case you can’t tell — I liked this place a lot.

Beautiful outdoor seating area and fantastic food. Had the roasted chicken. Crispy skin on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was served with potatoes, sweet potato mash, a stuffing ball, and vegetables. Not sure what done of the vegetables were in the mix, but I ate it all.
Staff was friendly. Cost around 15£ per person, but they do have inexpensive small plates.
Also paired it with a Symonds cider.

came here on Sunday. absolutely starving so went for the cumberland sausages on bubble and squeak with onion gravy. everything was tasty but i felt they were a little ungenerous with the bubble and squeak — 2 small patties, and the sausages were mediocre. decided to push the boat out and had sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce and ice cream. very disappointing; the sticky toffee pudding was more like a sponge and not enough sauce to make it at all sticky. having said that, the atmosphere was good and the waitress attentive and friendly.

Lovely gastropub. Food is really tasty, atmosphere is nice, staff is very friendly.
–Baked brie — soooo yum! And the bread that comes with is amazing
–Scotch egg, terrine platter — scotch egg was ok but terrine was awesome
–Partridge with linguine — Really tasty and lovely sauce
–Burger — AWESOME
–Fishcake — Massive and pretty good but not amazing.
