Should 3.5 stars. Nice clean bright environment with decent food. Good spot to fill up before a flight.

Had a quick airport dinner there — 15 mins from the second I was sited till I had food in front of me — the food(asian bbq with kimchee and noodles) was really good(surprisingly good for an airport :)) and I will go there again while @Heathrow to try some other dishes.

Bacon wrap with Sriracha sauce: very good. Service: very craptacular. I know it’s the airport but I would think service would be faster, given that they should be used to people rushing off to their gate. They certainly have enough servers scurrying around. To little effect apparently.

I usually go here in my transit through Heathrow airport. They have one of the best Ramen’s in the world and I have traveled at least 1% of the world so I’m the best judge. Seriously though. This ramen is amazing. The service is great and fast and the restaurant is very clean. This is definitely my number one choice for food at Heathrow airport. I’m here several times a year. I never had anything else here but ramen, because«never change the running team». I can only recommend. Don’t try the other overpriced, bad food, bad service places. Seriously. Go here and enjoy good food while waiting for your next flight.

My favorite place at Terminal 5. When ever I have international connections with British at London, I do not miss on a quick grub at Wagamama. My favorites are their Okonomiyaki(which is a Japanese omelet) and Yaki Soba(Noodles). Good food and even better view while you are eating. What do you want more.

I dunno. Sure, it’s a fastfood place, but the food was really bland and service extremely unattentive(of course there were some ppl that stood out in a good way — thank you!). Will try some other place next time. Appreciate that if there’s a line to the restaurant, they will inform you of the approximate waiting time. Great if you’re tight on time.

Wagamama is chain. First and foremost. And therefore I usually don’t provide reviews of such places. As I am quite regularly stuck in Heathrow(usually T2) and DON’t consider a sandwich on the flight dinner, the choices are not too wide spread. Wagamama is a good solid Asian alternative, with Noodles and fast friendly service. But still… it is a chain.

I seem to eat at this Wagamama’s about half the time I come to Terminal 5, but I certainly miss the old breakfast menu with the really good corned beef hash on it. Mind you, I can’t really complain — corned beef is hardly a staple of an Asian restaurant. This time around we were greeting in a really friendly manner and seated quickly. The food order was taken quickly, although thankfully the waitress confirmed my wife’s order as there was something wrong with it. The food arrived quickly — unfortunately they forgot to bring a side of pickles with her chicken cha han(and sadly it no longer comes with a miso soup either). But we managed to flag down another waiter who went and grabbed us a pickle side. The food itself was good; my yaki soba seemed to have far more prawns than usual(I can remember at a visit to a different member of this chain, I literally just got the one prawn in the entire dish), and it seemed to be a far bigger portion than usual. Meanwhile the cha han seemed smaller. The significant issue was that it took ages to get the bill, and since this is in an airport after all, time is crucial here. At least the delay didn’t cause any problems, and the meal itself was passable.

It’s good noodles but I question the quantity I was given for takeout. Running late, I ordered breakfast noodles to take away while I headed to pick up some electronics needed but left behind. On coming back I was handed my bag and went off to the gate. Opening up the container though, I found it roughly half full of noodles, nothing like what I would get when ordering a meal inside a Wagamama elsewhere. Everybody seems to say that the portions are generous, so maybe it was just a one off. However, it’ll make me think twice before heading there again… The noodles themselves were good, bacon, egg and mushroom stir fried with noodles and a topping of fresh tomato. I just would have liked more, especially at the price I paid…

Comi sem me arrepender. O preço é médio.

1st time trying the full English. Went cold quite quickly. The hash brown was not crispy. Sausages were the best.

Fast, good, Japanese and fairly inexpensive. Good stop in Heathrow for the hungry traveler, if you have 30 min or more. I had Udon noodles, and they were very good — way above your average airport food at least. I wouldn’t compare it to the best Japanese restaurants on the planet, but it is decent. The staff is very friendly and understands the need for speed. Nice touches: the green tea is free, and there are a lot of tiny sides for one pound. I had the Japanese pickles(3 kinds of veggie), which was a nice addition to my meal. I would definitely recommend it.

We came here for breakfast, right before boarding a long-haul flight back to the USA. We knew airlines tend to feed you well even in economy class, so we were more curious than hungry when we saw a large noodle bar in Heathrow! Wagamama serves both breakfast and noodles in the morning. We ordered the Wagamama Ramen and shared a blueberry-ginger juice. Green tea(which was flavorless) was free — even the menu listed the exact price of «free.» Ramen broth was light and didn’t have much richness, while noodles were white, rice noodles that don’t seem to be the proper type. On the plus side, the many ramen components(mussels, squid, shrimp, egg, BBQ chicken, pork) were superb — retaining great flavor and juicy. Blueberry juice was OK, though the ginger flavor was much stronger than the blueberry. Pretty good service and nice place to eat. Just don’t expect authentic Japanese Ramen and you’ll have a decent meal.

Let’s be honest, you are eating in an airport so the food can really only be so good. That said, it’s nice to have something other than sandwiches and salads available before a long(LONG) international flight and Wagamama is the place to go. Your selection of the basic breakfast dishes along with more traditional Japanese foods makes this a good spot for everyone’s tastes.

I don’t know much about this chain except that it is popular in London. So it is a London chain… it’s not authentic Japanese food. It is just ok to me but it soothes a craving if you’ve been out of your comfort zone while traveling. I had the fish curry bowl and it was all right. I also had the pineapple smoothie and that was tasty but that is definitely not Japanese. Service was friendly and attentive though, and I appreciated that they let me leisurely eat while enjoying the airport wifi.

While at Heathrow Airport in London, we decided to satiate our appetite by stopping at Wagamama, a London-based restaurant chain featuring a variety of pan-Asian dishes. The interior was spacious, sleek, and clean. Plenty of seating for those looking to relax and dine during a layover. Super Green Juice [3.40 Pounds = $ 5.57] Apple, mint, celery, lime It was an early morning, so I felt the need for a freshly juiced concoction. The super green juice was refreshing — the tartness of the apple and the freshness of the celery were punched up with the addition of some herbaceous mint and bright lime. Full English Breakfast [8.45 Pounds = $ 13.85] Sausage, back bacon, roasted tomatoes, fried eggs, sourdough toast Being a British-based chain, Wagamama also offers the full English breakfast, sans the beans and some good old blood sausage. Still, the thick-cut sourdough was topped with fried eggs. The back bacon was nicely fatty and the sausage was hearty. I appreciated the roasted tomatoes, which imparted some acidity to each bite. Breakfast Yakisoba [6.50 Pounds = $ 10.82] Teppan-fried soba, bacon, egg, cabbage, mushrooms, tomato The GF opted for the yakisoba, which featured nicely al dente noodles with great chew, fried on the teppanyaki grill. Creamy scrambled eggs were interspersed with a mélange of fatty bacon, savory mushrooms, tomatoes, and cabbage. Very comforting. If you’re looking to grab a quick bite at Heathrow, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wagamama as your best bet. It’s not finicky and offers a variety of options to cater to all palates.

All my memories of visits to wagamama’s in the past have been good ones. Yes it’s a chain and yes there are probably more authentic places, but I would always have argued that it does what it says on the tin. Nice food, interesting options, reasonable prices and you get to eat it in nice surroundings. My most recent visit has changed my mind though and I think it is because I have now tried lots of better places doing the same type of food. Don’t get me wrong it still has decent prices and is a nice place to have a meal, but my last meal was exceptionally bland. I had the chicken katsu curry and it was very basic in terms of taste profile. It lacked any spice or kick. It was sad to taste a once favourite meal of mine and be pretty disappointed. Everything else was fine, service was fast and efficient. The staff were really friendly and checked how much time I had until my flight.

Surprised at the limited food options at this huge airport! It’s 8am but it was technically dinner time for us so Wagamama was a good option. Having both breakfast and lunch/dinner items, I had the pancakes and the husband had yasai okonomiyaki(Japanese omelette.) Can’t go wrong with pancakes. If you’re feeling adventurous go for the omelette, my husband enjoyed it but the mushrooms, aonori, shrimp and wasabi mayo were too much for me. Staff was nice and the service was quick. Nice place to have a decent airport meal and people watch.

This is by far one of the best places for noodles, soups and starters. I went to a location in London a few years ago and when I had a 3 hour layover in London on Monday I knew where I was having lunch. The set up of the airport location is geared towards travelers and good when you’re by yourself like I was. They have long tables throughout the restaurant that are set up for 1 or a small group and they space the patrons out so you don’t feel like you’re at the same table as a stranger. I didn’t look at the back part of the restaurant but it seems they had some separated tables for groups. I had a nice server who was quick and asked me how long my lay over was, I’m assuming she needed to know if I was in a rush or not. I had a bad cold when traveling Monday and soup was what I needed. I had a ramen soup bowl with tofu and veggies in a vegetable broth and it was delicious. Personally there was a lot of noodles in it for me as I’m a pretty small eater so I left a lot of the noodles, I think my dish along with many others around me could easily be shared. The chili vegetarian salad on the menu looked delicious but I went for the soup with not feeling well. Wagamamas is a must try whether it’s this location whilst on a layover or an actual restaurant location in the UK!

Nice to find something different that the typical airport fast food. Wagamama sits on the mezzanine above the British Airways terminal and serves of hot and spicy ramen and other fresh Japanese fare. The flavors are legit Japanese and the price is not bad for an airport terminal — under 10 pounds for a steaming bowl of Ramen isn’t so bad. If you’re looking for a tasty bite before a long flight, check out the Waga!

Was will man mehr?
