Went to a Monday night Jazz here.
They turn the place around a bit just for the music. Lovely little place and the liveliest place in the area on a Monday jazz Night.
On the evening i went the Superb Victoria Howarth was singing in her talented quartet. Tremendous line-​up of session musicians, what a terrific booking for Pomegranate. Lovely atmosphere and great bar staff. Recommended on Jazz nights !

Pomegranate is based on George Street in the Old Town of Hastings, and is a small but perfectly formed restaurant.
It follows the pillars of all good restaurants. Good food, good service, and good atmosphere.
The menu is limited but is seasonal and fresh, and caters for those with allergies to a degree.
I had Cod on a leek and buttery mash, with a seafood veloute, which was excellent. This is the kind of place that relies on word of mouth, and by gum that word is good, highly recommended.

Real gem of a place in the Old Town. Well priced, good local food and intimate atmosphere. Probably only about 30 covers. We like it so much we travel from Brighton to visit as a treat every couple of months.

This resturant is simply and lovely place to eat. It’s situated in Hastings Old town, has a lovely fresh menu, well priced and also has a superb host. You’ll know who I mean if you go there.

This is a wonderful and intimate restaurant in the heart of Hastings Old Town. The menu is fantastic, with great local food done really well. There are usually one or two brilliant seasonal specials. The staff make an effort to keep the atmosphere and you relaxed throughout. Have been 4 times now and never disappointed.
