Lovely bar! Great prices and food. Also great hosts. Always have the sports on and a nice pool table. Really good atmosphere.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, I knew it was there, but was never sure whether it would be a huge disappointment or a great find. It’s actually not far off the mark at all. Sadly lacking the perky waitress called ‘Sunny’ and the free refill on sodas(which frankly, neither of which any American dining experience should be without), the overall experience is actually quite close to the real deal. On the food side, not an overwhelming ‘American’ selection, but the pulled pork sandwich certainly hit the mark on the ‘homesick’ meter. I thoroughly enjoyed the burger, though it didn’t really leave me feeling overly American in my experience; but as food goes, delicious. Price wise I think they shoot a little high for my liking. The target demographic seems to be your Chilli’s-come-Bennigan’s audience, but priced more akin to The Cheesecake Factory. Overall, I really enjoyed it. Hornsey’s misses out on the full 5 stars because of the limited authenticity on the menu and the slight miss on the pricing. That said, Yay! I’m a fan, would happily visit again and would recommend it.
