This place is so well thought out and put together, a real quaint café with delicious homemade cupcakes(I highly recommend the strawberry and white chocolate) and baked goods, and a carefully curated menu of delicious food such as avacado on sourdough toast with poached eggs, chili flakes and sour cream(which we both ordered and enjoyed. There is the option to add bacon as well). Divine! The coffee was great too, and if I was a less moral person I definitely would have tried to sneak a cup and saucer in my bag — this shade of turquoise is my favourite! A lovely place to catch up with my friend during lunch, with friendly but not overbearing service. I just wish it was a bit closer to work!

This collective Sunday afternoon was well spent here with a late lunch of a spinach tomato feta pastry pocket and a cappuccino. I understand the delay for the spinach pastry since the café was fully seated, but I was surprised to see that it wasn’t hot nor even warm to say the least. Other than that, I loved the small homely atmosphere! I’d describe it as peaceful, family friendly, and amicable. Ideal for studying, journaling, to lunch dates :) Would come back!

Great food let badly down by terribly slow service. Place wasn’t busy, is and two other tables and yet it took over 40mins to get the food to the table.

Lovely banana and honey cake and chocolate and marshmallow tiffin. While the texture of the cake was a bit dry for my liking, I really liked the dense honey flavor in every bite. The tiffin was just the right balance of crumbly and firm with mini marshmallows studded throughout. Both for 4 pound twenty p. The menu includes soups(a courgette, chickpea and mint was on the menu when I stopped by) sandwiches and a few mains(I eyed the quinoa and asparagus but didn’t get it), as well as, coffees and teas. There are a few seats and small tables outside and the interior is light and airy. I would def pop in again if I lived in the area.
