Couldn’t find the place, instead found Café SL Bakery. All the Cupcakes had a very busy fly on them which made us feel gross.

Popped in here on a lazy Sunday afternoon for lunch. Adorable little café in a quiet part of Chiswick. The staff were very kind and attentive and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. Definitely the type of place you can go with a book and sit for hours without anyone bothering you. I had the gazpacho and an iced coffee which were both very good. I wish I would have had room for one of their baked goods afterwards as their selection looked incredible. I guess I will have to go back just for one of their award winning cupcakes. I will definitely come back soon for breakfast. and a cake.

Full english breakfast was quite good. Quantity was decent. Toast was pretty good. Brunch smoothie was pretty good. Slightly pricey but has a good ambience and decent food.

I had high hopes for this little bakery. Upon entering, the atmosphere was hot, hectic and loud. Our meal order was taken, the drinks brought quickly to the table… and then, we waited. It seemed all at once the restaurant emptied, and yet 45 minutes later our food was still no where to be seen. The menu is not incredible extensive, eggs, bacon, sandwiches, soup, pancakes… I couldn’t understand the delay. The staff was apologetic but yet, another 30 minutes passed before our meals were served. The food was hot and delicious, but the chaos was less than desirable for a lazy Sunday meal. On a side note, the bathroom was a disaster and on the way to the bathroom, you pass the kitchen — which was also a disaster. A little worrisome. To their credit, they did offer the drinks complimentary. I would consider trying once more.

Upsy Daisy Bakery is a unique bakery cum brunch place cum café. Think a stereotypically quaint English dining room with pastel pinks and blues. Then add an espresso machine. Then add award-winning cupcakes. The result? Upsy Daisy Bakery. It’s important though to know what you’re getting into. The food and interior are English through and through. Not ‘English’ as Richard Curtis would have you believe, nor afternoon teas nor top hats(guffaw). No: English in the sense that any Brits in your party will proudly exult upon the food served, whilst other nationalities will express bafflement. Kinda like when ‘that tune’ comes on in a bar, quickly identifying all those people who were at school at that time. And what, pray, is this cuisine? All the good stuff. Fish finger sandwiches with brown sauce and ketchup(yes!). Boiled egg with soldiers(yummy!) Sausage sandwiches(woohoo!). And of course, full English breakfasts. And all good representations of their kind. There’s yet more to Upsy Daisy though: fantastic cup cakes, well deserving of their award-winning status; pretty decent coffee that on the day we visited, upstaged that from Artisan across the road; above all, really friendly, helpful and quick service. I’m really glad I found this place.

Ah, Upsy Daisy Bakery. This place is the definition of adorable and also holds a very special spot in my heart — I had my very first afternoon tea here and it was delightful. Upsy Daisy is a hidden gem in the otherwise desolate Stamford Brook area(between Hammersmith and Chiswick). They are a mainly a café and bakery, but also serve a small selection of hot foods. When I lived in West London I would pop over for afternoon tea every now and again. At under £15, it’s a really good deal. You get three tiers of delicious baked goods, including those adorable finger sandwiches, and a selection of wonderfully moist cupcakes. The stars of the show, however, are the scones, clotted cream, and jam. I’ve since enjoyed scones with cream and jam all over England, and Upsy Daisy can hold its own with the best of them. The staff here are very friendly, attentive, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

I was recently in London for my future uncle-in-law’s wedding. Upsy Daisy Bakery did the their cupcakes, and I can not tell anyone how delicious these cupcakes are. You can tell they are so fresh, made with real ingredients. The flavors are spectacular. I never got to go in the bakery itself, but the next time I go to London, I will have to make it a point to go to Upsy Daisy! The owner(I think his name is Matt) has such a genuine personality and was very sweet. I would recommend this bakery to anyone who travels to London/Hammersmith.

English breakfast! I had my first full(veggie) English breakfast here. It was delicious — a very generous helping of eggs, veggies, bread and beans complemented by veggie sausage. The veggie sausage wasn’t the best I’ve ever had… but it’s hard to get that perfect. The restaurant is very cozy, they have wifi and do takeaway as well, so I’ll definitely be back for lunch at some point… if only to try the cupcakes. If you’re in Hammersmith, it’s worth a visit for brunch or just a cup of tea.

Adorable place, have been here 3 times now. The ambience and décor are 4 star but the food to me is decidedly average. I’ve had a sausage sandwich, a salad and soup twice. Everything was underseasoned, though it felt hearty and homemade. I’ve had the cupcakes which are cute, but for savoury food, you probs want to give it a miss x

No need to be skeptical about Upsy Daisy anymore — it’s a success and a total local gem. I wake up most weekend mornings dreaming of their flat white, their luxury grilled cheese and their French toast with blueberries and maple syrup. Oh my word. Upsy are even starting to have reserved tables now. Well done, but make sure there is always a seat for me please.

Wonderful bakery –delicious scones!- and a cheerful atmosphere. Had a cream tea and sat next to the big front window. It’s a great place to people watch and the coffee is really nice.

I’ve been to Upsy Daisy a few times for coffee and cakes or cream tea. Their scones are awesome, though sometimes they run out late in the day. I like the atmosphere. I’ve still not tried their cupcakes.

This little café is located in the no mans land between Hammersmith and Chiswick and is perfect for meeting friends for a quick lunch or coffee. When I visited the clientele was a good mix of locals with and without laptops. My eggs benedict were lovely and I will definitely visit again when next in the area.
