Marini’s Fish & Chicken Bar

Called in after work and bought a single haggis… haggis really tasty but the batter was tough… me thinks that it was a haggis from the lunch time menu. Next time I will ask for a freshly made «what ever». Pity about that as their food is really tasty.

I feel the need to review this after the review by «Andrew p.» above, who is from Seattle, WA, USA and his 3 reviews consist of two Hamilton, UK business’
To put it bluntly, this place is completely feeble in comparison to the chippie down the road — Divitos, literally 300/​400m down, the only reason I can see that people go to this chippie is to avoid the queues at Divitos, the food isn’t terrible, but the pizza is far from «outstanding» — Divitos have outstanding pizza, you can see from their trophies they proudly display on their shop floor. In short, this place is okay, passable, I’ve had bones in my fish before but you won’t hate the food, it’s ok, but it’s no Divitos, they really need to step up their game, especially with their local competition

An amazing chippy, meets lots of peoples standards, food is excellent and the staff are nice, best place with lots of variety of food, should give it a go!

A fantastic fast food establishment, the staff are friendly and the food is always freshly made. they sell traditional fish and chips to Italian pizzas and kebabs. They cook their pizza’s fresh in front of you, this does require a lengthy wait but it is totally worth it. The food is reasonably priced and delicious.
