Vue Cinemas

I’ve been here a couple times. First time was to try out the sofas to watch a form which is nice and comfy and it’s an experience to watch a film like that. And the 3d movies here are great, I watched Star Wars and the seats were amazing and it was a wonderful experience.
There are booking screens on the side so you don’t have to queue up for the tills and the pic and mix sweets have a great selection which every so often I’d just go to the cinema for the sweets.

As this is our local cinema me and the Mrs go and watch a film at least once a month. Very clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and efficient. I was more surprised though, by the fact that my girlfriend left her mobile in the cinema and i was very shocked to have found that the management found it and had put it away in the safe. On the whole, the cinema is great, although like most cinemas they are VERY overpriced on the drinks and snacks!

Really good cinema, based in the lakeside shopping complex, the seats are really comfy and there is plenty of leg room. That is just in the normal screens. The evolutive room is really plush, they have beanbags, 2 and 4 seater sofas and premium seating. I think they also have a gold class screening, which is again premium seating, with tables. You can also get drinks from there licenced bar. I would recommend this cinema to anyone. One of the lakeside car parks is right next to the cinema complex, but if there is no room in that car park, there are plenty of other ones nearby. Next to the cinema is also the Boardwalk row of restaurants, so if you are hungry, before or after your viewing you can easily find a restaurant of your liking.

I was normally a bluewater cinema girl, but when my boyfriend and i had free tickets to a VUE cinema we decided to give Thurrocks cinema a go.
The cinema itself is nicely laid out and well presented. A great choice of sweeties, ice cream and popcorn, and a good choice of drinks.
The cinema has a number of different screens, and i noticed they had the new evolution screen as well, which is full of comfy chairs, i’m not sure on the exact prices but a friend told me its brilliant and well worth the extra money.
The normal screen i was in was large and the seats were extremely comfy.
We had free tickets, but i still had a look at the normal prices and i have to see they seemed kinda cheap compared to other cinemas i’ve been too.
The cinema is air conditioned throughout, so visiting on a hot sunny nice is lovely.
Staff are great and friendly and happy to help. I got my £1 stuck in a drinks machine and they were over within minutes to help me. Thank you!

BEST cinema around! Prices are a little steep, an adult ticket costs about £7.50 but its well worth paying! It used to be called Warner Brothers but had a major overhaul and its really paid off! They have evolution screenings, which I believe are ones without trailers and ads. They also have over 18 sittings! Its all fully air conditioned, the seats are the comfiest I have found and the staff are always really friendly!

i dont visit the cinema often but when i do go i like to come here, formely known as warner borthers vue has really taken off and offers new facilites such as a bar for the over 21’s and wifi for those people who are on the move with then eed for a laptop.

Good cinema since its redecorated. Normal cinema prices, expect to pay over the odds for drinks, pop corn and sweets.
Close to the Boat (Old Orleans) so somewhere to wait and have a drink while you wait for your movie.

Thye have only recently refurbished this branch of Vue cinemas. It used to be shabby and dirty but now it is fresh and new. They have loads of screens incluing the new evlution screen which is full of comfy chairs but is more expensive to sit in. Tickets are cheap enough and there are hundeds of seats avaliable and all the up and coming films showing.

Great cinema with a good range of seating. basic seating at normal cinema prices and a nice range of food and ice cream. not much in the way of non chocolate sweets but all in all something for everyone. the new evolution screen is amazing and well worht the cost
