I’ve given his place the benefit of the doubt too many times. Posing as the most upmarket restaurant in the area; the menu and the facilities certainly look the part. Unfortunately, it’s all superficial. The food is regularly overcooked (from the steaks to the scallops) and the service is really not good. I’ve been snubbed on the phone when trying to reserve, and on the door when trying to get a walk in table on a slow day. But the thing that really lost it for me is the table service. The waiters are impossible to track down when you have an issue, and you better be prepared to wait at least half an hour for every single course. Even table water.

Very nice setting. Its family friendly but the ambience is there for a romantic meal. Staff are very friendly, and the food is quite tasty and well presented.
