I have worked it out. It is because I am good at writing and working things out and cross referencing and not good at anything to do with my hands, manual skill or hand-eye co-ordination. That is why I am so besotted with cobblers and places like this — Jones Shoe and Boot Repairs. If you live in the area or have some form of manual skill related emergency whilst in the area, Jones is you best bet. They do key cutting, engraving and shoe repairs all to the highest standard. Jones also will not shy away from properly shorting out boots for you too, as some cobblers tend to do. I also really like the little puppet type man that they STILL have in their little window. I wonder how long he has been performing his menial yet essential task for the people of Glossop?
