I always enjoy coming to this outlet as it stocks everything that you could possibly need for the out doors.
If there are any items not in stock they can check their database and see if it’s in any of their other stores.
I’m lucky to have an outdoors card that gets me 10% discount every time I shop in a Tiso shop.
Some of my past purchases have been great deals such as the GoPro camera’s and the products that go with them.
I’ve purchased Rab branded products from this store for the straps to fail after one day.
You can buy camping gear, outdoor waterproof jackets even wellingtons here, the prices aren’t to bad, but it’s better to know someone that has an outdoor card or a student to receive that10% discount.

Wonderful little store with helpful clerks. I’m glad they sold some wool socks for a wee one but beyond that they didn’t have many things we would actually come back for. It’s a two level store and the bottom has kids clothing.

If you like to explore the outdoors then this is the place for you! They stock all of the latest bits of equipment and clothing for extreme sports. I have to say, the prices are quite high but the products are all of a high quality. Overall, Tiso is a great place to shop with four floors worth of everything «outdoorsy».

Always a pleasure to shop here, if a bit painful on the wallet: the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable.

I really love exploring the outdoors, but I’m not as much of an outdoor type as I used to be. Still, there’s nothing better than waking up, opening the door and taking a nice whiff of the air, I live quite near a farm though so quite often all I can smell is old cow pat but I guess it makes for a more exciting outdoor experience.
I like to think of myself as a bit of a young, female version of Ray Mears and you could do a lot worse than have me around if you’re confronted by a scary looking snail in your back garden.
I used to go camping quite a lot up North and Tiso would be where we stocked up on camping supplies. We got some killer sleeping bags here in the sale a few years ago and they sure keep you roasty toasty when you’re out camping.
They have a great selection of back packs, tents, shoes and various other sports equipment so if you feel the Indiana Jones in you bursting out then head here. Everything is reasonably priced for what it is and the items are great quality. I remember noticing spaceman type food here a while back where you could get a meal of beans and mash in a powdered form, I’ll need to try it.

Deceptively big, this branch of Tiso is set out over four floors and offers pretty much everything any outdoor enthusiast could wish for.
The staff are extremely knowledgeable about the equipment on offer and are willing to take the time to help you find the right match. It’s all done in a genuinely helpful way too, rather than appearing false and purely done to make a sale.
My one complaint was the doorman’s insistence I emptied every last thing from my bag because I kept setting off the alarm at the door.

This place is alot bigger than you would think, over 4 floors.
Everything ‘outdoorsy’ you could want to be fair, including camping gear, windproof jackets and a good range of climbing equipment including shoes and wee chalky bag type thingies.
Prices are reasonable to expensive, and the staff are really knowledgable, but can get in your face a wee bit when you’re just having a look.
For the keen outdoorsy type chap or chappess though, I believe they could be really useful.

Tiso is great for everything «outdoorsy».
I’m an absolute dunce when it comes to camping, hiking, hillwalking, and anything in-​between, but this store still proves itself to me as being top quality.
Admittedly, I’ve only shopped here once or twice, but for my small needs they have most certainly delivered. After a long search I finally found a backpack here like I had been searching for. It’s smaller than your typical size, just enough to fit an A4 pad of paper, and exactly what I needed. I wished I’d known about this place sooner.
Then, last week, during the –8C weather, I was taking pictures to post on Unilocal and decided I couldn’t go a yard further without some decent gloves. By happy coincidence, Tiso was about 3 feet away from where I was standing, so I ran in to find my hands some new winter warmers. Within about 3 minutes I’d found the perfect pair of gloves with plenty of warmth and padding, been helped by a member of staff, and was gleefully tapping in my pin number. Baddabing, baddaboom. Sold!

Tiso stocks good quality outdoor clothing and equipment by the top brand names.
I’ve long been acquainted with Tiso stores– my outdoor-​enthusiast parents are big fans, and while I complained when I was a kid, in recent years I’ve obliged to go along because the staff tend to be those outdoor rugged types that I’ll happily chat to while my dad picks out his crampons.
I recently ventured into this Glasgow store for the first time to buy a thermos flask and was impressed with the friendliness and enthusiasm of staff. They really do know their stuff– whether it’s what rucksack will be most suitable for your size or for how long your soup will stay hot in that thermos
A couple of years ago I bought a pair of hill-​walking boots and again I was impressed by their expertise. I was a tad embarrassed though; here’s a tip– don’t try them on with skinny jeans, it aint a good look.

A good selection is crammed into this smaller branch of Tiso, I have always found the staff friendly and knowledgeable and willing to give good advice without pushing the sale.
Access might be a bit tricky for some as there are a couple of stairs as soon as you go in and the items on display are quite close together.
