This one of the new stores to open reticently in Sauchiehall st. This must be by far the cleanest Co-op stores that l have come across in a long time the shop is open 7 days a week from 7am till 10pm. I must be getting bigger or the isles are getting smaller as you cannot get two trolleys down the isle. On my first day here l just came in to buy milk it was something like £1.80 l handed a £20.00 note as l did not have change l had to wait for a supervisor to verify my story through CCTV, l felt like a thief l don’t dress like a chav or ned so l don’t understand why treat or brand all their customers that way. I found their security staff intimidating as if l was being constantly being followed around the shop. l don’t think l will be shopping here often.

A firm three stars that could quite possibly be a four purely for the simple fact that it’s not another bloody Tesco! Whilst the blue lettered big T continue to snap up every arse end piece of ground between here and Christendom, the Co-op have grabbed the spot where Currys(was it Currys? The one on Sauchiehall street… och, I can’t remember) and opened up a nice wee city store. Prices are reasonable, selection is decent given it’s size and for some reason, despite being quite small, it doesnt feel so(perhaps I was feeling extra midgety that day). Anyway, it’s a very convenient joint and perfect for grabbing last min messages before hopping on the bus home. Mon the co-op!
