This card shop is exactly what it says for a 3 star review — A-OK! There is a wide range of cards for all occassions in here and they are cheap. I was impressed to find cards addressed to all manners of grandparents(Gran & Papa, Granny & Grandad etc.) when these things can sometimes be hard to find. They also have a few nice new baby cards that are not the stereotypical pink or blue! You are not going to find high end or hand made style cards in here so if that’s what you’re looking for head to the likes of Paperchase, but then you’ll pauy 4−5x the price of most of the cards you’ll find in Card Factory. You’ll also find all manners of wrapping paper, gift boxes, tags etc. and gifts such as mugs or teddy bears geared towards whatever the next ‘big event’ might be. At the moment that’s valentine’s day so expect lots of love hearts.

I’ve always loved greeting cards and when time allows I try and make my own when brthdays/occasions crop up. Card prices are so expensive and I always think its nice to give something with a personal touch. However, recently I’ve been so busy that I’ve started to buy cards and this store has some great selections at really reasonable prices. I’ve bought a few birthday and new baby cards which look just as good as some of the ones in more expensive stores and are of good quality. Its also great for nice sheets of wrapping paper which I always slightly grudge spending a lot of money on. I would say though that some of the cards are perhaps not as quirky/contemporary as other card stores like Paperchase, but for me I’ve got round this by adding some embellishments to the shop bought cards. Definitely worth checking out before you spend a fortune on card and wrap!
