Been to Siempre a few times after a few long bike rides, and it is an outstanding post ride stop, and also somewhere you can go when not on the bike. The place lives up to its name as bike café, with tons of bike paraphernalia about the place. The café sells it’s own bike jerseys too and has indoor bike parking. On to the food, which is ideal if you need a recharge of energy. Every time I’ve been I’ve had the ploughman’s lunch style boards, which have a selection of cheese, bread, pickles and some meats. Very good quality and tasty. The cakes on offer too are very good, and the coffee is strong, just what you need. On the whole I love visiting Siempre as a post ride lunch spot. It perhaps loses its appeal if you’re off the bike as a lunch venue; the bike themed décor may not appeal to everyone. Though the tasty menu, with healthy and top quality ingredients should.

Unilocal Christmas night out: D The setting wasn’t one I would usually expect for a Christmas night out, but the long wooden benches actually worked really well. Okay, honestly I didn’t enjoy any of the food I had. The soup, I believe a lentil mix, was very bland. The duck was chewy, with bland vegetables. And the Christmas cake too stodgy for my spoon to actually cut into. The staff however were lovely, and offered great advise on wine, which was delicious. They were very merry and friendly, which improved the mood greatly :)

Lovely to sit outside or inside. Brilliantly located a stones throw from Kelvinhall subway station and just off Byres Road. A really great selection of smoothies, milkshakes and hot drinks with an impressive and indulgent menu of generously portioned no-cutlery-needed style food. I had a special of fish cakes last time I visited and they were superb. The staff were welcoming and accommodating of the children in our party and there are a great variety of table sizes including picnic style benches for larger groups. Very lovely place with quirky and cool cycling theme.

Popped into Siempre today for a bit of brunch with some pals. There were five of us plus two babies in a double buggy, but this didn’t phase the staff at all. As soon as the mum and twins arrived a staff member came over to offer high chairs for the littlies and was not at all perturbed by helping maneuver bikes/furniture around to get us settled. First impressions = lovely then. The service stayed at this consistant high standard throughout our visit with orders being taken quickly and efficiently, a bit of polite chat but nothing intrusive, plates cleared quickly but with no rush to leave at all even though the place was fairly full by the time we were ready to go. The food was ace, we all enjoyed our variety of eggs and sandwiches — and what’s not to love about a place that appreciates the awesomeness of an Eggs Benedict so much that they have their own mini menu dedicated to Benedictular options?! I loved my Pescatarian(Bennie with salmon), and one of us had a really great looking French Toast sandwich with bacon and stuff too which I’ll definitely be back for. A good variety of teas, coffees, softs, alcohol, milkshakes, were on the drinks menu and all reasonably priced too. Can’t wait to try some of their tasty cakes on my next visit! While we were sitting at one of the bigger trestle tables it was nice to see people in browsing the bike gear too. Although there was stock all round our table it never felt squished or like people were in our space while having a look at their stuff. Not being a bike person I couldn’t possibly comment on the quality of stock but I will say I loved how knowledgeable the staff were when helping folk, and I like that people literally hung their bikes on the wall when they came in for a cuppa and a munch. As a wee aside I loved that there was no mirror on the wall of the loo, just a message written there that said«You’re beautiful. Trust me.» High five Siempre for the warm fuzzies that gave me. Yay positivity! We passed a really great mid morning here, so much so that it’s going to become one of my go-to meeting places for lunches in the West end. Great for families or biggish groups to meet, great for lunchy things. Great great!

Siempre is my ‘aaaaahhhhh’ place where all is well with the world when I sit down there. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about their food and coffee, the coffee is quality stuff and they do all day brunch, including my favourite avocado and garlic mushroom on rye which is healthy and delicious at the same time so you can feel it doing you good. The subway practically waves you to Siempre when you exit at Kelvinhall :)
