I’m always a little torn with Ortak — is it actually quite nice or just quite tacky? Now that they’ve moved into the St Enoch Centre and closed their Argyll Street store — this hasn’t changed.
The new store is exactly the same as the old one — filled to the brim with jewellery and nick nacks. Filled with gift-​y type things such as photo frames, wooden cats and engraved crystal — you can’t go wrong here if you’re after a present for your Granny.
The jewellery itself is actually quite nice, and not too expensive either, Again, worth a look if you’re in the market for a gift.
